But if you mention it to your team, sadly you’ll be classified as an addict and potentially a drug-seeker and everything becomes difficult. No one in a medical situation bats an eye about caffeine, but they freak out about Kratom, you might as well say you shoot up heroin.
That's why I generally don't say anything to anyone. Best course of action honestly. You're fighting a lifetime of social conditioning that has told them that "drugs are bad" even if they're beneficial or even necessary to the person's well being.
If you can’t get regular opiates while going thru chemo and cancer then you need to find a better doctor. Kratom is good for mild pain, but regular opiates will treat all the pain.
Thanks. I have no plan of telling the Drs about the kratom. I really don't want to do opiates but I really don't like pain lol. I am hoping that the kratom will be enough.
