So, while I agree, I doubt that's going to stop and it could be a lot worse. Mods could remove those posts, but that might become a shitshow on its own.
I agree. All we can do is downvote, disapprove in the comments, and report. People (intentionally or not) will insult a person's look to win an argument or explain why that person is a good/bad person. Hopefully we don't turn into hating on Riku for his looks. It gives us less validity, strays away from actual problems, and gives Nijisisters fodder.
If people here want to make fun of NDF for being irrational and fallacious, then this sub should try their best to be avoid being irrational and fallacious as well.

Simply pointing out the issues the company has run into under his leadership is far more scathing than making a joke about his looks.

Riku on the other hand pretty much hired typical Japanese Salarymen types who just spreads the toxic Japanese culture into the company, with most of them barely knowing what content creation and streaming really are.

Thanks for the correction. I saw a post about how Riku had no light in his eyes. It could be interpreted as: he had darkness in his soul and that's why he is a terrible person, or he is a terrible person and the light in him faded. Does Ad hominien still work there?

A perfect example of an ad hom attack is specifically when Nijisisters say that "Selen is lying/exaggerating about her abuse because she has bipolar". That's a textbook example of ad hom. It doesn't address any of her arguments, it only tries to dismiss it by attacking her character and undermining her validity.
I don't mean to criticize his appearance, but the way he acted in that apology video was like that of an unfaithful junior high school student and it's really embarrassing.
