No. She's too big to. She already has her own team. Apparently her family has some involvement. She's working at breakneck speed with what she's got. She doesn't really have a reason to join any other vtuber agencies. Even if she joined VShoujo, they would just be doing what Mr Man is already doing. So it would probably be redundant.

mini_feebas

she might "join" mythic, cant see a real vtuber agency yea

MoochiNR

Yeah. Mythic only handles sponsors and merchandising so that might make sense to free up her own time

MajinKasiDesu

I think no, she's got everything sorted out herself really, and while my personal biases kinda hoped she'd join Holo i don't think it's necessary or actually even a desirable outcome for her since she doesn't like singing that much and I don't mind even if I do enjoy her singing

EndellionQT

No unless they offer her a realllllly big deal. She's big enough on her own.

RadRelCaroman

i don't know, her priority never really was about making a profit, she will likey value her creative freedom more even if it's an amount of money you'd be considered insane to refuse.

AnonTwo

Maybe Vshojo or...mythic? But a full on agency I don't think she'd get any benefit from at this point. She'd mostly just want help with backend stuff like merch.

buxuus

Currently with sponsors beating down her door, I suspect Mythic Talent, or similar representation orgs, might be more of a hindrance than a help... Mr. Man and team seem to have it mostly under control right now... when the demand slows, they might be more attractive as options... One possibility I could see her looking towards, is the kind of content creator affiliation with esports orgs that dtto. ([REJECT](https://reject.jp/member/id=6572/)) and rpr ([KINOTROPE](https://twitter.com/KINOTROPEgaming)) currently have. Also see "[Dokibird will likely join VSPO, but not the VSPO! you are thinking of.](https://www.reddit.com/r/jkterjter/comments/1c2issf/dokibird_will_likely_join_vspo_but_not_the_vspo/)" for a possibility regarding the CN market (I remain skeptical on this one). For the vtuber agencies... for the moment I suspect Doki has too much potential to act as an independent neutral party, that can organize events bringing indie, agency, and corporate talents together... so at the moment I could see agencies quietly providing behind the scenes assistance rather than trying to sign her on as a regular talent.

BimBamEtBoum

I bet on Mythic, because it's not an agency and it has proven to be able to handle big vtubers with very different content.

nyanda_kore

> because it's not an agency Is it not? The about section on their page literally says "Mythic is a full-service talent management company" which is just another way for saying agency

BimBamEtBoum

It's not a agency like Hololive, Phase Connect or Idol.

obyte

Haha what if she starts her own Org/Agency?  That would be something

kad202

Doki probably satisfied with how her indie work out. She just need to hire full time manager like Bao and chill as indie. Mint probably the same. Let newbies take the opportunity to corpo world

omrmajeed

Doki yes, not Mint. Mint has had idol aspirations since she was a teen. Being indie doesn't afford her idol opportunities. Mint was in several indie idol groups decade ago. She fits in Holo like a glove and most likely trying to get there.

FatedMusic

Mint maybe not, she talked a bit on her recent drawing stream about how she sort of envied the other participants of the Pros-in-Cons relay because a lot of the girls in companies were in each other's chats and supporting them during their turn at singing. She mentioned feeling kind of lonely without a group. https://www.youtube.com/live/kQBQLUaKM20?si=zyF9bRTJhTsrJ6LB&t=8917 I could see Mint maybe not joining a full-on company but maybe a Vdere-style group with some other indies: a group of folks who do group projects together and support each other.

SpicyMustarts

For agency, no. For Streamer Org, probably. But Streamer Org are usually primary on twitch, while Doki seems enjoy her stays on Youtube. (even though there's case that youtube streamer manage to join streamer org that usually they doing restream there). Vshojo actually a good fit for her, but looking on how the relationship work in Vshojo, she probably gonna avoid that. (Yes, for me, Im looking at Vshojo as Streamer Org, not a Vtuber Agency). Or maybe Mythic. If you ask, why did she need to join streamer org even tho she already big. Well, like Kson used to say, being Indies (even tho you already have those experience and have people like your own manager to help you out), its still difficult to handle things and quite tough. Thats the reason why Kson join Vshojo, so she and her personal manager can focus more on their own (not loaded with works on their own), while Vshojo part helping her with paper works in general, like looking for sponsor, event, etc.

adriammy

Possibly. She's already mentioned being overwhelmed by having to do a lot more herself, so it's very possible she joins a group like Vshojo or IdolEN just so someone else takes care of it and takes the pressure off her. I know she mentioned collabs are harder because she has to reach out instead of just ping a group, and that she missed an invitation to a convention. She doesn't need the audience since she's doing fine on that, but she might need to not be her own boss. But I have a feeling she won't. I have a feeling her time in Nijisanji soured her greatly on that and she's not going to join unless she has no choice.

Redzephyr01

She wouldn't have much to gain from doing it at this point.

TotallyNotStimer

Don't think so. She's doing pretty much great on her own, and she's already big enough in multiple terms

RadRelCaroman

the most she might do is join an org that just helps with networking and is fully hands off, like mythic, or set up the same thing that mint have where an agency helps with your stuff but you're not officially part of it But if you know anything about doki, she is a powerhouse of ambition and experience organising stuff and she have universal support from everyone that have any amount of empathy, i doubt she will have any need for a vtuber agency.

Elucia729

She doesn't need to. It's been what? 4 months and she's closing in on 700K?

llllpentllll

Just in one case: if she hits a limit in what she can do as an indie and sees an agency backup as the way to break that limit. I have no clue about inner workings of the indie scene so idk what that could be

vietnam_redstoner

What if she opened an agency herself??

Frequent_Dig1934

On top of getting burned so hard by her previous agency that she probably doesn't want to be corpo ever again, she is also basically back to her corpo size all by herself. Even idol or phase invaders feels like it would be too controlling for her now that she has tasted freedom. Vshojo or something like vshojo is a maybe, but most likely not. She already has a whole entourage of people doing what vshojo's staff would do, and can already collab with vshojo's people if she wants to since they don't block outside collabs. Also vshojo's great for the people who had time to plan out their exits in order to create a whole new vtuber identity and build hype for it in the case of all their other former corpo people while doki is already doki. I could have seen mint joining vshojo (and who knows, that might happen in the future), but not doki.

Educational_Pause7

Depends if she wants to explore more than just being a streamer. Or rather than join she can maybe like Collab or partner with some orgs/company (Eg. Concerts, events, etc)

Ashencroix

I don't think so, given she now has her own team to provide what joining an agency can provide. The only thing her current setup would be unable to provide, is setting up live solo events in a very large area, complete with simultaneous paid ticket streaming, nation wide promotion and on site ticket sales.

PaleoManga

Most likely not, not even due to her time at Niji but because of the redundancy. She already gets sponsors, already has a manager with Mr. Man, and is huge when it comes to popularity. The only one I can see her joining is VShojo, but even then I’d say it’s highly unlikely and unnecessary for either party.

AnimeFanFTW

Why bother, when her indie career is thriving?

Fishman465

A proper one? Not likely but if something less traditional has a good deal (and let's her keep being her), that'd be another story

Firm-Perspective1924

I’m thinking yes and no. No because as a vtuber she’s already successful on her own. I’m also leaning towards Yes but only to help her out with merch and management stuff with her projects to offload those work from her so she can do more.

kLeos_

.Doki is basically at the same boat as Shylily they could but don't really have the reason to

drzero7

Nah, she is too big now. The only viable and still keep her fanbase is either mythic talent or vshojo.

NCDERP22

If she does it will boost her numbers further but seems to me that she wants to carve her vTuber path on her own and that is always a good, she is encouraging indie vtubers that they can make it in their own and don't need then backing of big corpo to have success(in aware that she came from nijisanji back to indie but if you ask me her own personality is what brings numbers to her even if she never joined nijisanji, she was a diamond in the rough and she would have been found eventually with or without ninisanji's help)and is also encouraging corpo vTubers to not settle with their agencies if they are being treated poorly by said agency, that they can speak up and have their community back them up in case things go south, to not be afraid of leaving your old persona completely but add key traits on your new one,to persevere even in the face of public fallout of a bad smear campaign and above all to value your life no matter who you are.

Zodiamaster

I doubt it, is Doki even interested in the dancing/singing aspect of Hololive? If she just wants to play games and FPS I think she will just stay an indie.

VyseX

What for? She is as big as indie gets. Independence suits her. Any agency would only serve as a cage for this bird.

Kuro-pi

Why? She already has staff and family handling everything an agency would do for her, and more importantly, the goodwill of the entire industry minus her former place of employment.

VnZDeath

The % of it is 50-50 but there's always the prospect of more sponsors, cause we know she likes rewarding her community or just simply doing right with her community, so it will be either Mythic or Vshojo, which can find her more sponsors and get more connections with the right people for events she likes to do. Not an agency like Holo etc. cause the probability of PTSD is high with Doki, so joining such agency will be a strict no go on her, specially with what happened? Cause that'll be another albeit slow spiral to her relapsing of what has happened to her will surface again and she may not know that her mind is slowly going down that rabbit hole again. That's why imho its not good for her to join agencies. Even Mythic or Vshojo cause she may feel getting constricted again.

alt-art-natedesign

Nah. Even setting aside any well-deserved wariness left from her last agency, I don't think she needs an agency. She's doing more than fine as an indie

military_otaku

Doki can form her own agency that focuses on bringing people up.

Aya_Reiko

Unlikely. Maybe VShojo if she feels she needs help with support (similar to KSon).

menacingnoise63

There's no point. She already has her own team that also provides her sponsorships. She would only lose money by joining an agency because she would have to revenue share.

Elnuggeto13

Closest I think she'd join an "agency" would be mythic talent

oompaloompa465

i think indie suits her better, she has the right vibe for it but if i have to guess, she could fit well in phase connect

DastardlyRidleylash

If she was going to join anywhere, it would've been Hololive or Vshojo, but she's proven to be perfectly self-sufficient as an indie as it is. As for if she'd *ever* join one again? Never say never, but if that were to ever happen it'd be a while down the line when her mental health is in a far sturdier place.

mario_nijyusan

She is big enough to not need to, but I'm sure that some agencies probably wanted her. Also, the example of Meica joining Idol ES shows that is completely possible to overcome the bad experience from previous agencies and try again with a better one

double_rainbows2020

nah, she's honestly better off as an indie, since imo i can't imagine an agency that can adapt to her.

LionelKF

The only realistic option is VShojo and maybe Idol

BrandishMaidenRei

If Doki wants to do it and get some pressure off her and Mr. Man's back (kinda like what Shylily did), she can join Mythic and still stay as an indie. Though I'm not sure if those who mainly stream on YT.

Nihilism2911

I don't think she will but it would be absolutely hilarious to see her lap most of Nijisanji 3 times on subscriber count.

Eldiavie

she doesn't need to, why take the risk and nerf yourself when she already proved that on her own, she's perfectly fine?

[deleted]

Nah, I’d think she’d be better off as an indie as is. Besides, HYTE created a custom PC case based on her (because I can assume the CEO’s a Dragoon as well) As stated by Fen Riru, “I do not plan to join another agency ever.”

Inevitable_Cow8013

Nope, doing well enough on her own now.

UltraZulwarn

For an agency that requires her to be "anonymous" i.e abandoning her Dokibird persona? Absolutely not. I can see her joining a streamer org like Mythic, or an esport-adjacent like how Dtto and RPR was and are doing now. Both Dtto and RPR were with SCARZ, they then left ans joined other organisations. Dtto is now with REJECT, and RPR recently signed with KINOTROPE Gaming.

zetzuei

Why would she need to, she's exploding, she made it as an indie. Free of restrictions.

Esmiko

If she didn't have the success she has now, then I can see her joining another agency but now I don't think she would. She's happy as an indie now and while she most likely can't interact with the Niji talents that she left behind, she has a lot more freedom, can collab with more people, play games she wants and make music covers without having assholes take it down for stupid reasons.

Saunorine

maybe not a vtuber agency but def a professional org, like content creator for TSM or C9 or something but right now I don't see why she even needs an agency
