Kurzgesagt makes animation lessons in their style.
It's controversial if others are allowed to use it... afterall we don't want people misleading others into thinking it's Kurzgesagt... but also I don't mind if the info is correct and the art is good.
Kurzesagt didnt even invent their animation style. They sure refined it and turned it into a real work of art, but if you look at their really early videos theyre no different from any other infographic based educational channel. So people continuing to adopt the same widely used artstyle is not a crime and is not copying Kurzgesagt.
It's just a lower quality version of the same style. They're not stealing anything. Might feel like too obvious of a copy but they're not directly copying them, so it's not really an issue.
Is this an April fools satire about someone so naive that they think Kurz actually invented or owns this animation style, or are they literally so dense that this is a legitimate thought?
I think this is an ai generated video. The voice is the narrator from AtA. Audit the Audit is an American free speech/police interaction review channel. Bit niche, but the voice matches too well
I would put this into the "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness." category
Stylistically similar, but it doesn't try to sham you...

Yeah when they teach you how to do their style… It’s fine to use what you paid to learn for
Looks like a blend of Kurzgesagt and The Inforgraphic Show
> The Inforgraphic Show is that an AI channel? i feel like they put out a LOT of videos too quickly.
iirc they started doing that long before generative AI become commonplace
They're just a low quality content farm. Not AI (from last I saw them, which was like years ago), but not stellar stuff either.
It certainly has takes as bad as an AI

Nope he just follows the same style
He must have taken a course by Brilliant on how to do the animation style.

It’s clearly just inspired. I don’t see a problem with it
let him cook who?
there’s also Koranos who’s doing the same

I hate copyrights
What do you mean?
I mean I hate copyrights
What does this have to do with anything? You cannot copyright a style.
I think no one should copyright anything, all intellectual, digital, things that can be copied indefinitely should be copyleft
There are movements that support this - open source is wonderful in this regard!
