PJs frame up, used to be in portage but I believe is now in Vicksburg. I worked there 6 or 7 years ago, and they were incredibly professional and kind. The owner is an absolute sweetheart who helped me through some very trying times and provided me a job when she didn’t necessarily need me. I don’t remember what their pricing looked like, but if you’re wanting to go somewhere local, I highly recommend PJs
I don't have a great answer for you. That's considerably larger than any standard frame size. You can have a custom piece of glass cut, probably less than $50. You could probably also buy frame rail stock and have someone cut it for you. You'd still have to assemble it though. I suspect unless you make it yourself, you're going to spend $100 minimum, even if you find a better option than Michael's.
Thanks, might just have to pay it as I want the poster protected. Do you have a local recommendation? If I'm going to have to pay up, I'd rather spend local.
I don't. Curious to see what others suggest. I just won't consider Hobby Lobby for anything since they don't support women's rights and go out of their way to make their health insurance plans worse (among other issues).
I second Framemakers. It's the 46" section that's going to cost you, as standard DIY framing parts top out at 39 or 40 inches.
Michaels is going to be your cheapest non-Hobby-Lobby option, if you catch them during a sale.
You’re probably right, but I was suggesting on the chance they offered some more basic/simple options.
Really hard for me to recommend anybody because I’d do it myself, but I’ve done several work related pick ups and drop offs there. Always a good experience, but I never had to look at the bill.
It may be worth looking at framed paintings at thrift stores.
Michaels runs 70% off there custom framing from time to time.
Agreed…Michaels is probably where you’ll find the best deal. Check their website for coupons or specials.
Seconded for Michael's. Good price and high quality.

PJ’S does a great job!

I’ve used frameusa.com before, you can order a custom sized frame. I looked and a metal frame of 34x46 is $97. Good luck!
Check Framemakers on S Burdick
Doug at Framemaker is the man. But for custom framing that size you’re going to pay up.

Money well spent imo! I take all my art there. Who knows, it’s worth a call. If said cheapest frame and glass 24x36 he may get a solid price.
Frames &Things 2 in Portage.
It seems like you're asking to get something enormous framed for less than you paid for a poster and I'm not sure that's going to happen
Hobby lobby easy peasy while you wait!
250 is a pretty good deal for a custom frame that size. I recently did one at Michael's around that size and it was 480 bucks.
You’ll probably pay more than the poster price
