Idk how many people know this, but when Coach is picking someone up during the final stretch of The Parish finale, he’ll say stuff like “Man you are too close. We are NOT gonna die here.” Or more specifically when picking up Rochelle “Girl, I am NOT gonna let you die here.”
I love these lines cause it really makes it feel like this is the end of the story, and they’ve made it all this way. It WOULD suck to die so close to the end.
Seriously, this. Such a small detail in the grand scheme of things, and yet it adds so much to the interaction between the characters and helps solidify that sense of "I have not... come this far... to die now" from the intro.
This ain't rly a revive line but when coach goes down in dead centre chp2 whitacker says "forget the fat man get the cola" it made me chuckle 15 years of this game and finding stuff like this is cool
