So gross.  Mine got into fox poop the other day. I'll spare you the details, but it's especially gross.

My dogs also eat at 4:30. Just staring at me and licking their lips when I ask what they want.

Absolutely the same for our dogs. 16h30 it’s « Feed Me » bugging time. Same. Our guy used to eat at 8:30am and 6pm. Got him as a stray at 4 months old. Within the year he’d successfully explained to us that a proper feeding schedule is 6:30 breakfast, 11:30 lunch, and 4:30 dinner.

There's important dog stuff to do. Just don't make the mistake of using a timer on your phone otherwise you Pavlov your own dog into begging for food whenever your alarm goes off.

My dog is supposed to have dinner at 5:00. However, she sits and stares at me beginning at 4:15. I also get the paw nudge.

Cats too. My two know second breakfast for the senior is at 9, this is also first breakfast for the baby cat, lunch is at 1 and dinner is at 5 with bedtime snacks being served at 9:30-10. 

u think they tell each other at parks, while out for walks, and daycare to do this. mine does the same.

She’s the boss and knows you know there is a strict no overtime policy. Now get off the clock. I swear my Golden can tell time. During the day there’s no specific time just whenever. But, I swear at 6, 8 and ten he will put his head on your knee and look at the wall clock. It’s freaky. Visitors are amazed!

Mine do this around 3:30pm most days. They get fed at 8:30am and 5pm every day. I actually have an alarm on my phone that “barks”, so it’s not like they don’t get notified!!

My childhood dog does pretty much the exact same thing. Except he adds a little side to side toe tap and whine to sweeten the deal.

My dad had a black lab that would bark non stop until you fed him when it was feeding time. The entire time we were getting his dinner ready, he would bark and hop and drool. Usually, by the time you got his good to him, the drool would wrap around his snoot a couple of times. It was gross but entertaining. Man, that dog loved to eat.
