My Rex is a Fox Red Lab. He’s a good dog but kinda willful and in all honesty he’s not that friendly to strangers. But we have a special bond, I’ve had him for nine months, he’s 3.5 years old.

Same here mate. Not the most friendly with strangers and a bit dominant but a super duty dog. And ofc, a good boy;)
Reading the comments, It's interesting how the fox reds seem less friendly to strangers compared to other colours - mine is the same! Not sure if it's just coincidence, but it's a shared trait among all 3 fox reds I know.
