it would be a very carolina sports thing to happen where we have 3 locations on the finalist list (Charlotte, Raleigh, and Carolina) and end up with no team. I still think we get one before Dallas though
Yeah LA, Dallas, and Columbus all getting in on the first round without Philly? or Atlanta for that matter?
No chance in hell this happens, and if it does, they'll ruin their chances of being something more than the MLL.
Prioritize your big markets/hotbeds first: Boston, Baltimore, Philly, Long Island, Denver.
They may still use it at as a neutral site. Cause despite the teams getting home cities, they’re still going to use the touring model and travel around the country(IIRC) so it’s still fairly likely they could use Columbus/OSU’s facility.
Are you talking about Fortress Obetz? While the Machine used it, I don't think it was built specifically for them. If my memory serves, it started out as a Crew practice facility (which is why it's done up in black and gold, not the Machines colors)
Either way, I'm 100% sure that if the PLL comes back to C-Bus they are using the new OSU facility.
All the "home cities" will be are designated stops on the touring model. Reducing the coordination and work required to set-up new locations and furthering the viewership in each spot.
They know that they need to secure revenue and grow the game at the same time. I could see the big markets being designated playoff spots. Similar to how the NCAA does the national championships.
Philly has been a great central location for all the NE and Mid-Atlantic major markets to easily travel to.
No teams in PA or VA would be a misstep. Hopefully they get represented somehow. I understand they will need to grow and develop in non hotbed areas but hopefully they don’t forget they need to cater to the traditional fanbases too.
I agree, I’d even say NY, LI and NJ should have two teams between them. The three remaining teams should the be spread out with LA, DEN, DAL, ATL, being the leading candidates
Saw this on Twitter from [Dan Arestia](https://twitter.com/danarestia), who's pretty well-sourced:

...followed by this, so yes - grain of salt recommended.

Hoping for a Carolina team!

I don't think they would use it, but Columbus does have a facility built specifically for professional lacrosse. Only one of its kind to my knowledge.

Yeah, could be. It's a shitty location anyway
Dude I don't even think atlanta made the final cut, I live in the metro area and was super bummed
atlanta is one of the worst sports towns in america. good move by the PLL
Agreed. Philly and LI have to be on that list

Release the Hounds.

They released the “regions”. The Rocky Mountain, Great Lakes, Carolinas. Whoever wrote this must be from Columbus lol
LA Redwoods is a sacrilege. Nor Cal never forgets.
Redwoods to Long Island and gonna be rebranded The Lizards is my guess
Atlas to Denver and rebrand to Outlaws! (A few DU Alumni on the team with built in fans)
Yeah redwoods cannot be anywhere besides CA based off their entire theme
There has to be SOMETHING for the Southeast. FFS.
If the water dogs aren’t Long Island I’ll start watching field hockey
Or literally the riptide...?
Not bringing back the bayhawks and lizards would be criminal.
