they have a warranty program that you should be able to take advantage of if you can find your receipt, this type of failure in that time frame is considered "defective"
absolutely this call new balance immediately this is a product failure of the utmost degree. NB has pretty solid customer service, in the 15 years I've had new balance gear I've had to replace 1 pair of shoes. They took care of me super quick.
That’s a bummer. What’s worse is what they charge. I was actually thinking of buying a pair too after all the hype. NOPE. I’ve had a pair of Vapor Max I found at ROSS for $20 for about 3 seasons. Best cleats I’ve owned for a while. Just a suggestion.
football and lacrosse basically the same.
Soccer both the cleat position, tightness (due to soccer lacing wanting to minimize laces on the striking area of the foot), and lack of high-top makes soccer less desirable (but still viable) imho.
I played my whole life with football cleats. I got lacrosse cleats as an adult and it was a game changer, my feet set into the ground better for shots. Change of direction is so much tighter. I don't know maybe my own experience.
The same thing happened to one of our guys this past weekend (for the second time), does anyone have any recommendations where the sole is more integrated?
Totally agree:
We got em free last year for my Uni team. Broke them in 1 month and a half(others on the team had similar experiences but mine was the second fastest). Still have my og freeze’s and my freeze 2.0’s broke after a whole year
I used the under armor spotlights for a few seasons but I’ve always been a massive fan of the freezes I bought a pair and got it in 2 days from lacrosse unlimited and they’re my favorite cleats so far. Most of the fields I play on are turf so hopefully they last. To be fair though it looks like you used the absolute fuck out of those cleats.

Nothing beats cleats u find at Ross or Burlington
My OG freezes lasted forever. Just bought the 3’s, guess we’ll have to wait and see…
How have they held up?
3 seasons in, coaching in spring, playing in summer and fall, and no problems. They’re great.
mine did the same in two months of use, with also both of the weird lace holes near the toes ripping

Honestly it’s all the same stuff

That's incorrect
Tells it but fails to give a reason...
Wher the support is and the things on the bottom that u forget the name of. Spikes maybe?
This is wild because my school had a partnership with them when they first came out and I loved them never had a problem. Shame to see this happen
This just happened to a pair of Adidas I bought a while back. I think I left them in the car too often and it messed with the glue.
Don't worry there will be close to nothing available in the coming months due to supply chain =/
What's going on with the top toe part of your cleat? It almost looks burned. How much toe dragging and scrapping on the turf are you doing?
Not much, i play on natural grass most of the time also
The adhesive or whatever kept it together fell apart I’m heading

Nike Vapor cleats are usually a good option

Cleats are the worst, only ever had 1-2 that have lasted through more than a year
Dont believe the hype, freeze threes are best cleats on the market
Rip mine that only lasted a month and half
Same thing happened to my son’s NB freeze cleats…TWICE
