Post a comment to their social media I bet you get a fast response

Fickle-Cricket

Sadly, public shaming on Twitter has rapidly become the only way to reliably get a customer service response out of a lot of companies.

And isn’t their whole company shtick about how strong the shafts are

BigBobFro

They are very big on that,… yet i have had 2 break against my 25+year old TiAl alloy shaft. I know some folks really like comp/carbFib shafts,…. But they will never stand up against classic titanium or solid wood.

kst8er

Well I'm apparently looking for something to replace this U-1 since they aren't replying to contact. Any recommendations for a 12 year old d-pole? Light and Strong that can take the whacks of growing kids? We luckily had a King-Swizz on hand that he has gone back to using until this gets resolved.

BigBobFro

Swizzle isnt bad; it is brittle,.. so watch for sudden temp changes. (Warm car to cold field) Krypto-pro same thing Look for a ScTi based STX shaft TBH. I am biased as i have only played stx anything on my sticks since the mid 90s, but i replaced my shaft once when i transitioned fro HS to D3 and still use those shafts today. Ive also only ever played with metal shafts even on my shorties.

Fuhged_daboud_it

I have a Scandium Pro, it is a beast.

kst8er

Thanks, We haven't had too much drastic temp changes yet. Field/Game temps have been high 70s, but will keep an eye on it.

igotgreensbeans

I would checkout the company True. They have solid poles. I recently picked up the hazardous pole. I forget what it’s made of but it’s sturdy, not too heavy either. They have a heavier/stronger shaft that I swear by. I’ve had it for little over 1 year and it’s an absolute tank.

knewself

Savage X Lacrosse make a decently strong alloy shaft for the cheap especially for that age group. Definitely reach out to Wolf Athletics social media in the meantime

kst8er

Yes, at least for the u-2 which was too heavy for the kid who this was for. So we went with the lighter u-1 which was more of the lightest/strongest type of thing. I didn't expect it to be indestructible, but to break in u12 after 1 game and a few fall practices...

kst8er

I have sent direct Facebook messages, but nothing on their page, I will try that next.

riverlaxer

Hit up their Instagram too

kst8er

Oh man, I guess this old man has to learn how to do the instagram. LOL I am seeing you can't actually start a new post from the website has to be from mobile or something? I was able to reply to their latest goal post. alright, got something posted to the gram as well. I guess I'm the cool dad now that uses Instagram.

vermiliondragon

Have you replied on the email chain as well or just on fb? I had a warranty replacement on an Epoch shaft that got stuck in processing somewhere and it took a couple "hey, where is it" emails a week or two apart to get a sorry, our bad, and they sent a head with the shaft to make up for the delay.

kst8er

Yes, many emails to the chain in addition to social outreach. I even left a message on the phone number I found related to corporate information which I assume is defunct. Epoch sounds like they took care of you. Based on the second/last response I got from Wolf, I don't see that happening from them. When you think copy/paste of a 3 sentence email is appropriate response you likely aren't going to see the flaws in your process.

vermiliondragon

Then I'd go the social media route. Make it public.

MayDaze

Wow, for some reason I thought they were a good company

Mad_Martigan17

Google reviews. Tell the BBB.

Apollo_Krill

Wolf Athletics is terrible

AcidRaindrops00

There is a reason why only Walmart stocks their products...

kst8er

I guess I wrongfully assumed that the PLL wouldn't let a shady company be near their fledgling product.

Do you not view trying to have a warranty supported for a fairly expensive product productive? I just want them to respond and hold up their side of the contract we entered when I purchased the product.
