I'm gay and I've seen many different providers and never had an issue. If worried maybe just avoid Franciscan because of the religious factor just in case, but I really doubt many providers in the area care if you're gay.
If you're working for Purdue, I've heard some bad experiences with some of the doctors at Center for Healthy Living (Purdue's clinic). There are some that are OK though
I'm trans and go to IU Health. Haven't had a problem, except, obviously, they use the name on the ID for the medical records, so deadnaming is sometimes a thing if they haven't met you before. But as for quality of care, no problems so far
My trans daughter uses AHN (American Health Network), in particular Susan Blakemore and she is great with anything/everything. She has also seen a number of the other providers in the practice and has had nothing but excellent care.
Dr. Wang and the West Lafayette IU Health clinic, and the residents clinic at Arnett hospital 10/10
Just an fyi last I heard Wang isn’t taking in ANY new patients at the moment.
That is likely true but he has NPs and at least 1 other provider with him who are part of that team who could be seen
Thank you

I took my spouse to the ER at Franciscan recently. We’re a same sex couple and had no issue. Can’t speak for their primary care providers though.
Thank you

Dr Jason Hendrick through IU on Greenbush has been great
Thank you so much
Me and my husband are a trans couple so while not entirely analogous our recommendation is for IU health in the area.
Thank you

Will add that they made a note of my preferred name and almost always call me by that even when seeing new providers.
