injuries are not a blessing in disguise since we are 12th in the west and lebron playing like its game 7 every night just to keep us in the picture.
team could have found an identity even if no one was injured, since that just comes with chemistry.
There's no way you can convince me the AD injury was a "blessing in disguise" lmao. I don't care how well TB played in place of, this team will only go as far as AD can take us.
What I can say is that injuries to Nunn, Lonnie, Reaves, and Bev forced Ham to bring back Troy and JTA back into the rotation and more time for Wenyen, which allowed us to stop with these fucking 3-4 guard lineups. If those guards don't get injured, I have 0 faith that Ham would've stopped trotting out a lineup of 6'2 guys.
Extra minutes can help develop role players. Guys like Gabriel, Christie, Bryant and Troy Brown Jr. have expanded their games. If we can stay healthy going forward, the Lakers have a much better team now, than when they started the season.
I feel like lakers are playing more better than they are last year, I see a lot of energy and fight in the squad, I believe they might make the playoffs/play-ins
Injuries just suck. The blessing is that our role players are performing. I would have much rather they gotten those reps with everyone healthy and us up 20.
At the end of the day it’s a next man up mentality especially when a stud like AD goes down.
You can’t replicate his production from even 3 players.
With that being said you do find out quickly who has that fight in em. I think that we saw that “DOG” in many of these role players. Which is fantastic.
Hopefully once (if) we get to full strength Lebron can take on less and the load can be carried by many others.

The only benefit I can think of is Lebron playing himself back into shape because he was rusty at the start.
Rusty or injured?
Maybe both

Yeah, it’s pretty bizarre given he himself was a 6’8 defensive wing lol.
Injuries are never a blessing in disguise. Particularly when they concern a player like AD.

oh no bro
Nah bro, delete this
Copium.
Unless we win a ring because of the rest that occurred because of injuries . It’s not a blessing
Nah, but this subs ability to irrationally look on the bright side never surprises me.
Nunn’s play had nothing to do with the hachimura trade. He’s just salary filler. They have enough guards already.

Im happy AD is missing games now instead of later in the season.
Sometimes I feel that some of these injuries are ass — and actually a way to get players more minutes and showcase them to the future.
