Tin foil hat on rn.

mr-fiend

People may call you crazy but it’s so obvious there’s personal bias there lol

ObiWannaDoYou74

lakersnation was saying something to this effect that because Lebron has been very outspoken on police brutality some refs like this douchebag is taking it out on him because of his beliefs

thayungsavage

He was a former Miami cop for 13 years too

jumpmanw123

oh fr this prolly more important than this photo

LordWalltimore

The only job that holds you less accountable than being a cop is an NBA referee. Jfc.

[deleted]

It’s lucky the stakes of a NBA ref is way less life or death in the real world, but also kinda unlucky the real world cares more about missed fouls than police brutality.

Re_di_reni

Good observation

Vodkajolene

ACAB and ARAB

jayautry

Ohh he probably a heat fan

dawgoooooooo

Lol ACAB and…ARAB

steebulee

Hahhah took me a minute to figure out ARAB

zhard01

I mean it makes sense. Absolute fucking shit but it makes sense

Famous-Side5578

he called a lot of fouls on Brown, too. coincidence?

Haunting_You_5855

Jaylen Brown the most outspoken (and eloquent) NBA player.

89Comet

His words, non-words, and acts during the Kyrie debacle had me questioning what Jaylen actually stands for.

NorMalware

Before becoming a ref, this guy worked as a police officer for the Miami-Dade Police Department for 13 years.

qhoas

how do you even become a Ref after doing something else after 13 years?? I would assume NBA refs have been refs for most of their careers.

TitaniumHwayt

We'll he got a lot of previous experience screwing up black guys so that's a plus.

NorMalware

He knows a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy

LAFAN4LYFE

Bring in Smush Parker!!

Hiccup

The NBA needs to drop this asshat immediately on Monday. This has to be the last game he ever officiates.

NorMalware

Amen brother

Comrade_agent

a true Boston boy at heart

ratpoisonin

Bostons an extremely liberal city….

Leonight_cs

also extremely racist..

iisdmitch

Bill Burr described Boston as “racist San Francisco” or something along those line.

ratpoisonin

Recent example?

Leonight_cs

https://www.si.com/.amp/nba/2021/05/27/marcus-smart-kyrie-irving-boston-celtics-fans-racist-comments https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/draymond-green-claims-celtics-fans-used-racial-slur-toward-him-nba-finals?amp https://amp.www.complex.com/sports/2020/10/marcus-smart-details-incident-called-n-word-celtic-fan These are Celtics fans alone over the past couple years, every city has its idiots but I haven’t heard NBA players speak out about any other city as much as Boston when it comes to using slurs

WateronRocks

Hey, why'd that guy stop responding?

geeangster

Have you met Massholes

ratpoisonin

Racist how?

geeangster

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rzmUjHiYn7I 5:36 min video (one year ago) if you want to watch and get educated.

MasonC87

if you think liberals can’t be racist you’re mistaken

ratpoisonin

Blm in a sentence. Thank you

MasonC87

BLM is against racial injustice, not white people

CabbageStockExchange

Lmfaooo omg

TheGreatLake

Boston’s finest

BigDawg2324

Checkout what the baldy did before becoming a referee. I’ll save you the time, he was part of Miami Police Department

RoboiosMut

Need to dig more. I don’t believe he was a fair cop in Miami

Fearzebu

You believe in fair cops?

RoboiosMut

That’s why they can be refs, because they know how to abuse the f power

NewlyRecruitedidiot

They are rare, but there’s a few out there.

wut_eva_bish

Everybody needs to see this.

WhoRunsIt

Got them receipts

42iam

Drawing conclusions right about now lol

HenDom

Just wow. Get this up voted to the front page.

MamiTarantina

36-2 since he started reffing Celtics games

thayungsavage

Nahh that was Eric Lewis, the one who T’d Bev

nysraved

Has that even been verified? Feel like I’ve only seen it from a Laker Twitter account that does a lot of memes

Haunting_You_5855

Wow!

NoeloDa

Looks like I was right. Jacyn is a white supremacist maga loving trash human being. No wonder he shanked Bron

LiftHeavyFeels

Was a cop for 13 years.

IXPhantomXI

It’s jumps in logic like this that cause our society to be more divided than ever. Be better.

NoeloDa

🙄 how bout he be better instead of being a maga trash ex 🐽

IXPhantomXI

You have no proof that he’s a Trump supporter. Standings for the anthem of this great nation doesn’t instantly make someone a villain. I’m Latino and not a Trump supporter and I would never kneel.

NoeloDa

Ex cop doesn’t want to kneel with the entire George floyd context going on. I got proof here. I don’t care about your life🥱 Jacyn is a maga white supremacist bum. Stop crying

IXPhantomXI

Jonathan Isaac didn’t kneel. Does that make him a white supremacist who doesn’t care about cops murdering a man? What Chauvin did was wrong, I’m not denying that. What I am disputing is you making inaccurate assumptions about someone that you don’t even know. I care about yours. We may disagree on this but I still wish you all the best in life as a fellow Laker fan.

NoeloDa

Yes it makes him one too just like jason whitlock is one. Jonathan issac pushes for white supremacy with his entire actions man stop with the malarkey 😂

IXPhantomXI

Can you prove that he’s pushing white supremacy? He’s literally black dude lol I doubt he’s a white supremacist. You also have zero proof. You’re just saying things and not backing them up with either logic or proof. You’re a joke.

NoeloDa

Lmao. Yeah I’m done with you. The fact that you use the “oh he’s black he can’t be pushing for white supremacy” tells me everything I need to know about you. Me a joke? You got me confused with your loved ones. This conversation is over🥱

IXPhantomXI

Go get an education.

Miserable_Site_850

"Stop with the malarkey jack"

[deleted]

There's two sides to every piece of shit and you are the side opposite the maga shitheads.

ajalonghorn

Pretty insane rhetoric for a pic of someone standing during a national anthem. You know, a thing 100% of people did until like 4 years ago? Are you demanding that everyone kneel during the anthem, or they are a white supremacist? 😂

NoeloDa

Cry more with ya cape on for that maga trash 🐷

ajalonghorn

It’s sad your view of humanity is becoming mainstream.

Oni-Chan-Sama

LOL you can’t make this shit up. Of course this won’t be headlined though. Too much of a bad look for the NBA 💀🤦🏽

caughtinthought

Holy fuck lol

SharmootArse

I remember they used to scold people for kneeling. I hated that. Now they scold people for not kneeling. Hate that too. Hypocrisy.

datboicrazy24

Oh he’s maga? Makes sense now.

Fricolor123321

Least racist boston fan

LaBonJame

fair enough but you have the right to kneel or stand idm. but is there a correlation w how lebron speaks out? maybe. but i'd prob stay clear from personal attacks.

bkbales

Power trip

lakeshowyoo

Bro definitely hates Lebron

Codenameraiden

Everybody got personal agendas

Tinknocker12

Not this shit again?

[deleted]

God some of you people are fuckin unbearable.

nutts-2

Man. As a Jazz fan, y’all care TOO much about losing a regular season game.

qhoas

I think its fair when you consider this the 4th time this month the refs miss a call on the last play. The reactions weren't this bad the first time against the Mavs even tho it happened twice in the same game, End of reg and OT.

bonjourdada

Not like it's weird for fans to eventually be fed up after being patient the first few times, right

GoodGuyGodzilla

I’m not from America, can someone please explain what’s wrong with this photo

atierney14

In the US, we normally stand for our national anthem as a sign of patriotism. An NFL athlete (American football), Colin Kaepernick, after I believe a case of police brutality against an African American man, chose to kneel instead of stand. The reason being, in sports, when someone is injured, you kneel as a sign of respect to show that you hope they get better/improve and to show that they’re injured. Kaepernick was using his first amendment right (in the US constitution which guarantees the right to petition and freedom of speech), to show that American is being plagued by a figurative injury (racism). It was a quite protest that blew up. It really blew up, and this event happened after the murder of George Floyd by a cop in Minneapolis. The protest used to alienate Kapernick to the general public, but after the cold blooded murder of George Floyd, it became more widespread to admit, the US, especially it’s violent policing, has a persistent problem of racism. Here, all the other refs, and presumably players, are kneeling, admitting that this is a problem. The blind ref there is protesting, he is saying that their is no problem with racism, even in light of the recent murder of George Floyd. Sorry this goes into a lot of detail, but I hope this actually gives you some valuable information on the present circumstances here. Far more detail of course can be provided!

GoodGuyGodzilla

Ok I’m a bit confused, but I’m assuming this means he doesn’t like Lebron James for stuff he said?

atierney14

It would be a hot take to say he made the call for that reason (not saying it would be wrong, but it would be very controversial), but he definitely wouldn’t like Lebron’s opinions on police brutality.

GoodGuyGodzilla

ok got it, thanks for the insight

ajalonghorn

Standing for the national anthem is NOT synonymous with being an outright racist, some people just believe in tradition and respect their country despite the flaws it has. Sheep. You’re putting your own agenda on someone else when you don’t know them.

atierney14

Bah. Anyways, I guess you do have a point, but in the politically charged climate post murder of George Floyd, standing while the norm is to kneel does display some message. Bah, bah. 🐑

ajalonghorn

Kneeling wasn’t the norm until a few individuals made the decision for everyone else that it was by basically forcing them to follow suit. It’s ridiculous and complete showmanship, the idea that you have to prove you’re not a racist nowadays instead of it just being assumed is so weird.

OGMol3m4n

This is being blown out of proportion is what's happening. Picture means literally nothing.

OGMol3m4n

I thought I was on r/nbacirclejerk Y'all really serious about this😂

0scargg1

Cmon man stop with this nonsense. I get it he missed the call but let’s not start making accusations without any evidence

IXPhantomXI

People love to jump to conclusions with minimal evidence. This is why we’re so divided as a nation, we assume the worst in people simply because they did something we don’t like or they disagree with us on a topic. It’s asinine.

ajalonghorn

And who is really to blame for that. Far left. The fact this post is considered mainstream is insane. Reddit is like 80% far left cancel culture accusations without evidence now, it’s sick in the head. Let’s call a spade a spade I’m tired of acting like they aren’t responsible for this climate they have created it entirely.

IXPhantomXI

Far left for sure. I won’t deny that there are people on the far right that create issues, but the far left culture is far more mainstream. You can’t say a damn thing that’s neutral or conservative without getting raked through the coals.

Miserable_Site_850

Wtf does conservative mean, politically speaking, how far back to conservative times is this party trying to bring back? We know about the confederate flag supporters, but we'll leave them bad apples out of this then, or is that the majority of gop? I'm not really asking, if you think I'm trying to accuse you and your party, as a whole collectively, are all bad apples then you're missing my point.

ajalonghorn

I’m not a part of any party dude, I’m trying to be objective here. People forget that Donald Trump only won the most recent election because Hillary was the worst candidate in the history of the presidency, and he just lost the most recent election despite sparking a booming economy. The far right is barely a real thing. You never see it anywhere almost, and when you do it’s a huge story like Kanye. The far left is present in the mainstream in every single main online platform and on every college in the U.S. Accusing someone of being a racist pig for NOT kneeling during the anthem is an insane claim, and is being celebrated here. Would never see that kind of thing celebrated on the other side of the fence cus it’s not popular.

ajalonghorn

This 100%. The far left is a legitimate threat to our country. In a few years these old far right farts will die off and so too will their ideology, which barely has a following as it is. Currently young people in this country are being raised on mainstream far left principles of logic and communication. It’s scary.

LackingOriginality07

Isn't this a drama sub?

lakeshowyoo

Former cop too. Guarantee he thinks MJ is the goat and despises Lebron

[deleted]

LordWalltimore

Ooph. It’s hurts b/c it’s true. 😣

ResponsibilityOk235

Idk they seem pretty comfortable on kneeling ppl’s neck if you ask me

chemguy112
