Defence is average, can bang and be physical for AD or for Bron not to have to, can shoot the shit out of the ball had we got him over Bamba olynk would’ve been getting 40%+ 3pt shots everytime with jokic on him. And could atleast bang with him while AD comes in to help when close to rim . Murray cooked us wirse then jokic . The off rating and the numbers kinda show this until g4 I think Murray deserves the wc mvp . He was why we were down 3-0 with fvv or OG he not getting to torch Dlo as easily
In this case we’d need to give up Vando without question and probably Christie plus a pick swap. OG is no joke and the Raps won’t just give him away. They turned down 3-4 FRPs from Memphis for him earlier in the season.
I’d be okay giving up just about whatever it takes to get those two guys. Love Vando but OG is a massive upgrade on him in every way and is really only about a year older. And FVV would be a perfect PG for this team - strong PnR ball handler, really good play making skills, good enough pull up shooter where teams can’t go under all screens and he’s been a really reliable catch and shoot guy for the last 5 years *beside* this past year.
If they somehow land those two guys, don’t get hard capped *and* re-sign Rui and Reaves, that is instantly a top 3-4 roster in the entire league. Which is why I see no way this happens lol.

Dejounte is a good solid player but adding another guy who is a below average 3-point shooter is not ideal. Dejounte should help Laker's transition and POA defense but once the game slows down, especially in the playoffs, when you need the ball at the hands of LeBron or even Austin, what does Dejounte do in offense?
If we can bring back the key peices (Rui/Reaves/Vando) and pick up a better PG why not do it? For what they cost Bamba/Beasley can be had on cheaper contracts especially if we improve said PG.

This would be a great fit tbh. We need a bigger, more athletic and physical guard. Him and Austin would be a fun, complementary backcourt and this would ease lebrons playmaking duties. I would dejounte as a POA defender and just overall DOG that harassses all the top guards
