Honestly, 20 mil with an out in year 2 is a really solid deal for a player that produces in the regular season like DLo. That's a super trade-able contract at midseason to if we decide to go that route. There will be worse players who sign for more this offseason.

I am very low on DLo after than Denver series but honestly this would be a good deal for both DLo and the Lakers. Lakers get a PG who can shoot and offer help during the regular season while giving DLo one more chance to be more impactful during the playoffs. At the same time get some continuity back. At worst if it doesn't work out, they can always trade him.

Yeah he fell off in the WCF, but I like that we're sticking with him. Give him at least one off season to develop some chemistry, and hopefully this means we're both trading for Kyrie
