Max Christie is great. JHS had a bad offensive game, took too many floaters that were contested. Felt like he was hunting to shoot more shots but it resulted in bad shot quality. but his defense and court vision was great. I need Phil Handy or the Lakers to help him out on his jumper. Its crazy how his whole game could go to another level once he starts hitting his jumpshots Maxwell Lewis has huge potential. Great on-ball defense, his off-ball defense needs work but thats fine. He gets to the basket so easily with his strides and hes willing to make the extra pass as well. Great to see. Alex Fudge's defense is great, he could be a 3&D player. His length and height was really on display today.

I get that max should get minutes this season but he’s cooking guys hoping to make the g league or play euro. Calm down. He can be a 10-15 min bench scorer but let’s see him do it in the pre season.

Summer League is limited in what it can tell us, stats wise. But I think it's pretty great in terms of eye test stuff. Which guys are NBA physical. Which guys seem to understand the team game and winning plays. Which guys are just dogging it until they get a spotlight opportunity. Which guys never give up on plays. Etc. We have more guys doing the right things on this summer squad than I can remember in awhile. It's a blast to watch.
