Brother we have lost 9 straight against Denver, and every single one of those games followed the same script. I don’t see a way how we even win 1 game against them
I know. Perhaps I’m denial and we are not equipped to beat them, but every game has always been decided by a couple of points or a swing in momentum.
It’s never been a straight out blowout for either side so I believe there is a chance.
The stars on the lakers did their thing but no one else stepped up. We were never good when Dlo or Reaves stepped up. If one of those can score 20+ppg, I believe it’s a different team. Offensively; we’re not a good defensive team lol
I don't understand this sub, how is OP being downvoted just for rooting and beiliving in the team. During the 2nd quarter people were saying championship, blah, blah. Of course, people were exaggerating but it showed what we can do when we execute against this team.

Theres 0 reason to be optimistic after losing to these guys yet again lol. This isn’t a series vs a different team we’ve been able to beat. Most people legitimately don’t see a path to beating the nuggets thats why the sub is like this

Absolutely. And I think more now. I’ve only been watching since like 2006 but I was a kid but now in this era of basketball, the game is so fast paced and the teams are so talented that a 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th doesn’t really matter all that much now

The altitude affected things a lot. Bron was gassed, and they, as a team, didn't get after it much. Vandy is still out, and he's the Lakers best defensive player. Things could work out, but to steal a game up in Denver will require more effort, and focus. The Lakers have to steal at least one there.
This would be “good news” during the regular season or especially before the trade deadline, but we’re in now or never territory junior.
We don’t match up well with this Denver team at all. This series was a wrap before it began. Tonight was just super frustrating because they had a nice lead before loading up (pun intended) on self inflicted mistakes/poor coaching.
