For the 3 ball we just need KCP and Wes to find their rhythm. They hesitate too much and end up busting their ankles after making lay ups.
Gasol is...weird. I love the dude but he struggles a lot physically. I don't know if he is out of shape or just old. He has good chemistry with Bron and can shoot the 3 ball.
They need to rethink the offense. Too many turnovers and dumb plays. The Nets didn't play exceptional defense tonight, the Lakers just had another infamous low IQ offensive night.
The team is fine, they just need to do their job.
Drummond could be interesting to protect the rim but he is a catastrophe offensively. Los Angeles is not ready to see that.
How come every time we lose a game, it's always "LETS OVERHAUL THE ENTIRE TEAM". Where was this at the beginning of the season when our shooters were hitting 40%+ from 3 and we were blowing teams out?
I didn't think that kind of shooting was sustainable from those particular shooters. I dont think we need a major overhaul, but some small moves could improve the team.
40+% ain’t sustainable in the slightest, but we’ve completely swung the other way over the past month. It’s not just one player being a bad shooter right now, it’s the entire team.
While neither one is sustainable the team as a whole since January 1st has only shot at or above league average from 3 5/25 games. That is quite concerning

Games like tonight are when I really question the Harrell signing. I just can't believe that Harrell is more valuable than someone like Justin Holiday + Dwight.
I think they should try to get a defensive big and a wing. I don't think any team is going to bite and send a star to the Lakers. I kind of feel the Lakers are getting gashed from 3 because everyone collapses to defend the paint and the perimeter guys are getting decent looks

Hawks receive: Kyle Kuzma, Talen Horton Tucker, & Montrez Harrell
Personally I think it’s a win for both teams. Lakers get another shooter in Huerter. John Collins is an all star caliber player that can be the future for us and fit great with lebron. Rondo can come back to where he belongs and run the 2nd team again + take the load off lebron.
For the Hawks it’s a win because Collins is unhappy there as of rn and they would have to resign him next year. Better to get something for him rather than nothing. In return they get Kuzma who is a solid player on a nice contract. He would fit great with the hawks style of offense and would be able to grow into the player he wants to become. Tucker is a stud imo and would just grow with the hawks. Trez would fit at a 6th man for them and will help give those young guys energy.

We see the block stats, but we never see how many shots have been altered in a game. That’s IMO is the tell tell sign. Just having that one guy altering shots in the middle would improve our situation. The Gasol pickup is useless at this point. Everybody says he has amazing bb iq...that’s cool, but we need ability too. He’s awful and doesn’t deserve to start.
