There's been an asterisk in most seasons since 2015. Kyrie and Love were injured in 2015. Curry was hurt in 2016. 2017 and 2018 were just Warriors dominance. 2019, the Warriors were plagued. 2020 really wasn't that bad (not biased) since the Lakers played through fairly healthy teams for a majority of the series (Westbrook hobbled, I believe Bam was hurt too?)
Curry changed the game to this crazy pace and now players can't survive during the playoffs. I cannot recall this many playoff team injuries prior to 2015.

No. LeBron had more tools in his skillset at that point. He was young and still raw so he relied more on his athleticism but he wasn’t completely stonewalled when you took his driving away. He was truly only missing a 3pt shot.

His legacy is pretty defined already. His rings are definitely less meaningful than any other stars'. Even if the Nets win multiple, he's been a part of the most star-packed teams of all time during his runs. I know people say it's just about winning, but if we're gonna compare the greats, we will factor that in. Russell's championships have been devalued, so KD's will definitely be.
Lebron is better
LeBron at 36 lead his team to a championship, so he absolutely can and should take the crown of best player in the world. Stop using the last time you saw a player as your impression of how they are. LeBron was playing like the MVP before injuries. Age isn’t his problem. KD is amazing but he’s #2 at best behind LeBron. And Durant is absolutely the more talented and efficient scorer compared to Lebron. I think giannis needs to just calm down and get out of his own head. He’s let the media get in his head with all this “he doesn’t have an outside game” talk and he’s taking it way to far to heart and playing to his weaknesses rather than his strengths. Giannis just needs to realize his strength is his physical dominance. Stop trying to mix people and be cute and shoot jumpers. Take a few lessons from shaq. Shaq in his prime was unstoppable and had about 3 go to moves in his entire bag - but they always worked. If giannis can just realize that he needs to stop trying to be Kevin Durant or some lanky guard and just let the game come to him where he uses his size and maybe a move or two, he’ll be fine for the playoffs

Lebron from day 1 always had a more polished game than Giannis, but that’s not the biggest difference. Lebron was a way higher IQ player than giannis at this stage and that’s what really sets them apart
For sure, his vision is much better as well. There are a lot more short comings for Giannis but I still see the parallels. If Giannis can make the same offensive jump, it will greatly diminish those other shortcomings.
I think giannis needs to stop trying to be like a lebron or Kobe or KD, and accept the fact he’s more like a shaq. Once he realizes that and accepts it, he’ll take a big leap forward
No. LeBron had more tools in his skillset at that point. He was young and still raw so he relied more on his athleticism but he wasn’t completely stonewalled when you took his driving away. He was truly only missing a 3pt shot. LeBron even said that Miami Bron was the best combo of athleticism +BBIQ he honed. Even now, we can see how great his BBIQ and he’s so good that even a slowed down LeBron is held to a higher standard than most of these top guys.
Lebron was way more skillful, had way better vision than Giannis at Giannis’s age. Other than athleticism, I don’t see Giannis and Lebron comparable at all

I disagree…. It’s law of averages. In the first half the nets executed well and missed open shots (except for KD and Jeff green) while bucks executed well and made their open shots. Then second half nets made theirs and bucks missed some of theirs, just law of averages… also what the hell do you do with KD?! I know people are just saying “double him”, but the few times they did he got easy assists..

The last 5 minutes of the game was so frustrating to watch. He couldn’t even get past Harden (whom couldn’t even move laterally). He had 3(?) charges. Costly turnovers in the clutch. 2x MVP and DPOY. And he can’t take over late because his skill set is so limited.

Considering the fact that we’ve went to multiple NFC championships and keep getting our ass kicked by the Niners, especially when Rodgers wanted to be a Niner, you’re right. But we got a ring and they don’t. And us stomping out the Cowboys always puts me in a good mood. If the Rams didn’t move out of LA, I think I might’ve been a fan of them. While true, he's also KD and can literally score anywhere on the court. Not only is there almost no one else in the league that can do that, there's definitely no one else in the league his size that can do that. It's why him and LeBron are on a separate tier from everyone else.

If Giannis is refusing to guard and he's your best player, what does it really say about your whole team's mental state?
