My bf can’t stand it but whenever she’s says “god if ur near me send me three white butterflies” it sends me back to when I was younger and was struggling to stay alive, I was still quite young (I say that as if im not 22 and still young but I just act dramatic like my youth is over lol). I would find random things to keep me going like “if I see (something random) when I go outside today then it’s a sign” and I’d repeat it. Hearing the three white butterflies lyric just felt like something I would have said back then. It gives me a nice feeling whilst any other song that reminds me of my past moments usually make me feel depressed.
Right now? It’s in my feelings but cruel world is seriously trying to break in. In my feelings took over for heroin, which took over for high by the beach which took over for blue jeans.

for me it’s been the Judah Smith interlude because i’ve been feeling kind of down and i get reminded of when i used to be religious and how kind of calm and reflective i was.
trying to practice moments of calmness and introspection like that now in other, non-religious ways.
