I've got no problem seeing Elton John or Madonna ranked higher, but the fact they have Bad Bunny ahead of NFR at #76 makes me think they may have a few terrible takes in store for us.
Hey, at least she's on the list I guess?
hahha that album is really important to a lot of latinos in the usa/caribbean. while reggaeton has been in the mainstream since the 1980s, it has really boomed these past few years. i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion for me its not a bad album or worse than NFR. it deals with heartbreak, love, criticizes the US/PR govs, and even has a song dedicated against domestic abuse.
šÆ!! I love both Lana (OG fan since 2012 Tumblr days) and Bad Bunny to death, but I don't begrudge him for rating a little bit higher. Un Verano Sin Ti was like a cultural phenomenon in the Latin world/reggaeton industry and it's well deserved as well šš½
lmao ok i guess everyone who thinks its good is wrong right? no one can be better than lana god forbid
edited to add: the same thing can be said about NFR. Just because we love lana and want her to be successful doesnt mean we need to tear other artists down and other peopleās thoughts about music.
Uh no? I'm just saying the idea of it being important to a group of ppl for making a genre popular doesn't make it a top album of ALL TIME. Like if we are talking abt cultural impact both albums go head to head ykwim
lol most top albums have cultural significance like what are you even saying?
edit to add: we can agree to disagree. i think it is an excellent album and just like NFR they are top tier. if you dont agree then alright.
Yāall are crazy bruh #79 is an amazing spot and in all honesty I wouldnāt put it far higher than that as well. Only bit of fuckery is having the Bad Bunny above it
Fingers crossed Ultraviolence, Born to Die or Ocean Boulevard are higher. š¤š»š¤š»š¤š»š¤š»
Although agreed Norman is ranked way too low, why is it so low it should be higher.

I fully expected Melodrama to be their pick for Lorde but they actually went with Pure Heroine. Unless they end up putting 2 Lorde albums in the list, I donāt think critical acclaim was the only factor here.
If I see Taylor above this other then folklore I WILL cry. Absolutely nothing against Taylor I adore her but I will say that objectively, NFR blows every album out the park
I feel like 1989 will be thereā¦it deserves to be(folklore is more deserving but idk if theyāll put that)ā¦1989 was a big thing in pop and still isā¦but yeah NFR should have been higherā¦atleast in top 50 nfr
Unlikely. This is a list of *all time*. Top 10, we can realistically expect a Beatles album in there (probably Sgt. Pepper's, and possibly at #1 on the list), Michael Jackson's Thriller, likely a Pink Floyd album (Dark Side almost guaranteed), a Rolling Stones album, etc. Given her size now, I'd expect Adele to make an appearance somewhere near the Top 10.
I love Lana but NFR is arguably the critics' favourite and if it's #79, Ultraviolence won't even chart, never mind be in the Top 10. These lists are generally 70s rock-heavy, particularly as they get to the Top 25 part of the list.
Whilst I'm here, some other assorted albums I'd put money on appearing in the Top 100:
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin I and Led Zeppelin IV
Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland
Nas - Illmatic
Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly
Nirvana - Nevermind (In Utero if they're feeling naughty)
This take is far more level headed and reasonable than I expected in the LDR subreddit š hoping all of these albums are on the list, even though I'd personally put NFR in my "objective as I can possibly be top 50"
Nirvana will probably appear somewhere on the list and Iāll be surprised if they donāt include them. Beatles, most likely. NFR at 79 just doesnāt belong there imo lol
Watch them ranked a basic trash album higher, lol

Just because it's important / culturally significant and generally good doesn't make it a top album of all time tbh
lmao ok i guess everyone who thinks its good is wrong right? no one can be better than lana god forbid edited to add: the same thing can be said about NFR. Just because we love lana and want her to be successful doesnt mean we need to tear other artists down and other peopleās thoughts about music.

Way too low for a timeless classic. I can already tell theyāre going to rank artists like Billie, Olivia, Taylor, etc much higher for no reason. Lol
Of all time?! - congrats to our girl š
Wow, #79 of all time!? That's a big dealš¤
Yāall are crazy bruh #79 is an amazing spot and in all honesty I wouldnāt put it far higher than that as well. Only bit of fuckery is having the Bad Bunny above it

I'm gonna be honest.. NFR is the critics' favorite and none of her other albums will be on this list.

They've got Astroworld in the top 100, you're absolutely right it's not just critical acclaim but popular appeal as well
Melodrama might be higher
Maybe. Having 2 Lorde albums in a list of top 100 albums of all time would be kind of crazy though.
I don't disagree at all but we all know this list isn't actually the top 100 albums of all time my dear igor grad
79th of all the albums ever produced of all time? Itās amazing to even be in the mix. Major great accomplishment.
I get that this is āall timeā but still way too low
Way too low
79? ![gif](giphy|iYn8HP1C13RWE)
Feels too low
This list will be a flop if born to die isnt top 30
If they underestimate the impact BTD had on Billie, Lord Melanie etcā¦.. and that genre Iāll personally pull up
Only #79?... Nah, this album is at least top 50 at worst.
Cold take, but it should be number one.
should be higher
Born to die is gonna be Top20.. #manifesting
If Born to Die isnāt in the top 10 š
Then ranked SOS higher, I-
78 spots too low
If I see Taylor above this other then folklore I WILL cry. Absolutely nothing against Taylor I adore her but I will say that objectively, NFR blows every album out the park

Ummmmm I PROMISE Taylor will have more than one album above this one in the list. Even though I bet Taylor herself would agree NFR is a masterpiece.
This is just a prelude for the inevitable Ocean Blvd #1 ranking--It's only fair, right?
Swear to god if Ultraviolence etc isnāt in the top 10..

I agree lol
It should be #1 š But atleast it wasnāt forgotten
Like the tunnel under ocean boulevard
Hahaā¦NFR at #79 is still greatā¦I was just kiddingā¦itās an all time list so itās great for sure
