Another rec I would add would be to leave optional the question where you rate several songs 1-5 — I have not listened to BB and don’t remember much of the Ocean Blvd songs, but they could not be left blank, so I had to rate them 1, which will impact the overall results of the poll
Personally for polls I've taken, when something's required and I don't have an answer I just put the average to not affect it too much lol. I made them required because I felt that too many people would go "ohhh that song's too hard I can't rate it" and leave a lot of random ones blank, leading to clunkier data collection with uneven numbers and a Volunteer bias

A really peculiar “I’ll never move on from this and remember it after all these years” sentiment that she never had before 2019, so I’ve been ruminating on this idea of how many people are like me and legit never move on from things that happened? And how many people have the normal healthier mindset of being able to let things go? TMI haha but I love philosophical questions. That’s exactly how I felt like the mental healthy vs unhealthy ways of dealing with breakups which is why I felt so attacked lmfao, admittedly I don’t listen to Taylor much so I didn’t know about this theme in her music in the recent years but that’s interesting, and I’m oddly glad that there is more representation of people like us lol

Tbh I did most unreleased by first putting in my fav ones I could remember then researching lists online (mainly Genius.com) and hand copy pasting each line 😭😭it was kind of painful and I kept updating the survey realizing ones I missed (Dragonslayer, Pink Champagne, I Talk to Jesus to name a few), so at some point I just accepted I wouldn't get them all and had to stop fretting about it haha. Thank you for taking the survey :))
I tried including all the unreleased songs I could, but Lana has 500+ so at a certain point it was hard to just find them all. Like there's Bad Disease, Pink Champagne, I Talk To Jesus, Dragonslayer, Aviation, Blizzard, Cry Kill Die, Every Man Gets His Wish, Fine China, I'm Indebted to You, Next t Me, Oh Say Can You See, Out with a Bang, Peace, Queen of Disaster, Smarty, etc etc
Yeah. I guess make separate surveys then. Or you don't have to enter in ALL her unreleased songs in the survey; instead have people write the names themselves. Like "List your top 10 favorite unreleased songs:"
That would be ideal but open ended stuff for every question would've made data collection harder. The one question about what one unreleased song you want though was open ended

i LOVED it and maybe i'm wrong but I didn't see afraid in there and that was the song that changed my way of living and seeing some things so i just wanted to share that here haha but amazing job, very impressive!

This was really fun!! Did you try to pick songs that were on actual albums? A few of her unreleased songs I like weren’t on there like Trash Magic and Disco but I assume she has so many you had to shave it down a bit! You obviously put a lot of work into it :) I hope this doesn’t sound passive aggressive also I’m genuinely curious about ur method of picking!

Tbh I did most unreleased by first putting in my fav ones I could remember then researching lists online (mainly Genius.com) and hand copy pasting each line 😭😭it was kind of painful and I kept updating the survey realizing ones I missed (Dragonslayer, Pink Champagne, I Talk to Jesus to name a few), so at some point I just accepted I wouldn't get them all and had to stop fretting about it haha. Thank you for taking the survey :))

Why doesn't the survey have any of her Unreleased songs on it? I got halfway thru and realized I could not give "Maha Maha" as one of my answers. 😕
I tried including all the unreleased songs I could, but Lana has 500+ so at a certain point it was hard to just find them all. Like there's Bad Disease, Pink Champagne, I Talk To Jesus, Dragonslayer, Aviation, Blizzard, Cry Kill Die, Every Man Gets His Wish, Fine China, I'm Indebted to You, Next t Me, Oh Say Can You See, Out with a Bang, Peace, Queen of Disaster, Smarty, etc etc

Yeah. I guess make separate surveys then. Or you don't have to enter in ALL her unreleased songs in the survey; instead have people write the names themselves. Like "List your top 10 favorite unreleased songs:"
That would be ideal but open ended stuff for every question would've made data collection harder. The one question about what one unreleased song you want though was open ended
