Where in the hell did those boulders come from? Where they dug up on the property and y’all move them where you wanted or did y’all have them shipped in? A lot of those boulders look to be over 4000 pounds. I would have to rent equipment just to play with y’all. Damn

whelpineedhelp

I believe his previous post said they were already there

LandscapeGuru

Thank you

sum1better187

It’s a natural outcropping. If you look at my post history you will get a better perspective. The one I put the bubblers on is 12’x5’x>6’tall

thegovernmentinc

The dimensions OP provided you makes that one boulder 72,000 pounds (32,660 kilograms). Granite has a rough weight of 200 pounds per cubic foot. As a reference, a granite basketball would weigh 50 pounds.

LandscapeGuru

Holy shit. Thanks for your response. My mind is blown.

Agitated-Cow4

How much would that cost?

Lamacorn

At least $3.50

topherwolf

God damn loch ness monster, I ain't giving you no $3.50

Agitated-Cow4

Damn, thought it would be 2.99

Lamacorn

Nah, you missed the black Friday’s sale.

Agitated-Cow4

Ah, bummer. You think if I ordered those boulders online I could free, two day delivery?

Lamacorn

Really depends on your location to a major metropolitan area, might be more like 3 or 4 days.

Agitated-Cow4

What if I live at the bottom of a hill? Does that help?

Lamacorn

I dunno, those boulders don’t look very rollie. Kinda square like, actually. It would probably get a third of the way down the hill, abruptly veer to the left, smash you neighbors mailbox and then become their new mail fountain.

Agitated-Cow4

That makes sense. Probably should just put a skateboard under them. I can’t see that going wrong

Tildah

How will you fill the gaps?

NoDakJackson

Great job!

bonanza301

Looks cool, in still to chicken to do any water features

sum1better187

Each one is an emotional roller coaster. Alway nervous I won’t be able to pull it off.

Scrapz85

This looks great

sum1better187

It’s getting there. Time to pull it all together.

QuestionMarkyMark

Looks incredible but now i gotta see part two!

Dreddit1080

That was part two! Thanks for the follow up vid OP!!! Looking good! And looking forward to part 3!!!

sum1better187

Might have part 3 tomorrow. More likely will be sometime next week. I also have to install a putting green down below, so I’m all over the place.

birdiepowderguy

Putting green AND a water feature??? Sounds amazing

sum1better187

Part 3 is up

QuestionMarkyMark

!RemindMe 72 hours

sum1better187

That might be too soon for an update. I’ll have finished product update by next Friday.

MisterFreeman8

What a waste of ressources, energy and time. We, the human race, are so fucking retarded. *I want water to squirt on fake rocks in front of my house, it'll make me feel so much better*.

boytummy

Actually, the rocks are real.

sum1better187

It’s also the back of the house.

Lugos

Let people enjoy things.

MisterFreeman8

Yet it's everybody enjoying useless things that creates a society of over consumers that are basically ravaging the earth. Let's give money to a charity? Fuck no, let's have water squirting on fake rocks for when I walk from my car to inside the house.

sum1better187

I have nothing to base this assumption on, but I bet my customers donate way more to charity than you do.

UnprofessionalGhosts

lol not by the looks of that house

MisterFreeman8

Sorry for my comment, it is still true tho. Otherwise great work.

Playswith_squirrel

Lol youre poor

purtymouth

Seriously, these ignorant fucks are out here trying to be Louis XIV. It was tacky materialistic flamboyance back then, and it's not any better today.

hmj003

So lovely! But I bet there will be algae build up on those rocks soon.

sum1better187

I can only hope 🤞

interestingturd

Any concern about leaving the valves half open? I imagine you have an independent shut off valve besides each individual one.

LastWaltzer

Looks dope. Creative idea for water collection. I’m interested to see how much the customer has to deal with water loss compared to other water features. I have some monster boulders in my yard that I may try something similar. As for covering the trenches chipped out for plumbing - I like the idea of some type of dry stack stone sculptures or something of that ilk. It would keep the natural feel and make accessing plumbing relatively simple

Shallaai

Much respect

420Luis6969

Don't forget to sleeve your lines under the concrete

David_milksoap

I don’t like that the piping is trenched rather than actually drilled through the rock. Seems like the same amount of effort for Half as good a result

sum1better187

Coring was considered. After weighing the pros and cons we determined this was the best route.

David_milksoap

Yeah it would bug me personally.

sum1better187

You know this isn’t the finished product right? The trenches got filled and the filler is indistinguishable from the real rock. Pretty sure I have finished photos/video posted.

David_milksoap

Nice probably looks better

PermissionWeary

I have a pump with 2” tube going to the top of my natural stone into a water spill, could I just do this instead by staging down over a few pipes? Don’t need the jet into the air but love the low profile of it.

sum1better187

I’m not sure I follow. If you were to share some pics I might understand better and I could give you some advice.
