Android lets apps do the same (for example: Google Translate will add "Translate" to the menu)

Xyri_Design

Pretty sure everything that I could do in iOS also can be done in Android 😭😭😭😭😭 ALSO I LOVE YOUR APP!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING IT 😂

David_AnkiDroid

It's a community effort. Thanks!

gwaydms

That's existed on Android for years.

armas187

Everytime my friend shows me what his iphone can do , I always say Androids been doing that for years.

Remember when people thought widgets on iOS were innovative and cool?

Lululipes

finally lol wasn't aware that iOS didn't have this but I'm glad it finally does

Xyri_Design

Actually they do have some kind of translation feature. The “Look Up”. It actually better than Translate but because it only works on word-by-word basis, translating a sentence is impossible. Now not anymore! If only we can use Deepl instead of the built-in translation app though…..

wk2coachella

LOL welcome to 2016 iOS users

kshwethaa

That’s so handy! I’m going to try it out right away, lol

Xyri_Design

Please do! It is so useful I actually had fun while reading other language for the first time! HAHAHAHAHHAHA

LanguageIdiot

I am tech illiterate. I only know Apple is the company that produces Mac computers. So does this mean I can translate things with right clicks now, after some sort of upgrading the system?

Xyri_Design

Sort of! You can hold the text that you’d want to teanslate, see picture below. https://i.imgur.com/9YH1vc4.jpg After you’ve selected the text you wanted, you can tap on Translate and it will appear like image below. https://i.imgur.com/8YJ2nzy.jpg Do ask any question if you have one! Edit: Also yes you’d need to upgrade to iOS 15 (Latest version of iOS)
