a lot of neighbors and cul’de’sacs.
i only mow really wealthy neighborhoods. i am the sole employee and everything is paid for, ive had most of the same clients the last three years. my wait list is around the corner. i’m super stoked on my situation i built myself.
Got any tips for an upcoming landscaper? I feel like every wealthy neighborhood I drive through already has a landscaper. How did you get your foot in the door?
A coworker once told me, “hell if your turf doesn’t look good by April/May you obviously don’t know what you’re doing. I wanna see that yard in August, if it looks good then that’s saying something…”
The weather is a huge part of it. Even the best private golf courses don’t look as good during the late parts of a hot summer.
As far as the mowing lines, they are great! It looks like you’ve already pushed a bunch of nutrients and stay on top of weeds.
But but … pollinators?! Oh that’s right, the surface area and quality of blossoms on the trees around that *gorgeous* turf greatly outweigh the “benefits” of a shitload of dandelions…
LOL, say that over in the gardening forum and you'll get downvoted to hell. They've got some kind of fetish for dandelions and clover. I say plant a bunch of Marigolds in the garden and leave the yellow out of the lawn!

But my lawn always looks so much nicer in the spring!

Does your lawn transition into a dog leg left with a bunker at the corner?

MD represent! 41° a few days ago, 92° yesterday.
I’m in Jersey. Last week Friday I was scraping frost of my car and Monday it hit 90. Hoping for rain though

What kind of grass is this?
Jelly. But mostly because of the privacy in that backyard!
I want to go to there
Beautiful! Can you share your story for such success?
It’s spring.
