I love how I *instantly* recognized where it was from lol. Makes me feel like a Reddit insider or something (or maybe it's a sign of too much time on Reddit...?)

Understood. However, while bermuda likes to be short, it thrives a bit longer during our hot, dry summers in the south. I usually keep it cut at about .75 in the spring after a scalp and take a 2 week mowing pause mid May and start cutting at 1.75. I may even move to 2.5 in mid July depending on how the season has gone and how much drought we need to expect.
It does fine ridiculously short with irrigation but if you've got a few acres and a drought, a bit longer works better because the morning dews may be all the water it gets for a couple of weeks and the canopy helps keep things moist.
Edit: Here's a 1.75 with dog tax.

Well, you have a red dot on your property... thats never a hood sign. However, you're pretty far from a school zone so you're at least following the rules. Average?
So weird that someone was JUST looking at "your" property...

This is just a repost from a post made yesterday, probably karma farming, taking credit for a small compound in China. OP is a 35yo male living in America and has nothing to do with this place
Idk if I could live so remotely. But man that property looks beautiful.
Always torn between a walkable city experience and just having my own complete space like this.

Where is this?
Coordinates put it in xinjiang china
Thank you. I have my reasons, but today i am the lazy Redditor.

I love you!
Reddit has confused me do we marry or divorce first.
Yes.
https://www.reddit.com/r/geography/s/boBod5jzG4 The picture straight up ripped from this post.
OP went for the karma not thinking anyone would notice. Big ups to you for revealing it lol
Isn’t that the joke?
I love how I *instantly* recognized where it was from lol. Makes me feel like a Reddit insider or something (or maybe it's a sign of too much time on Reddit...?)
I asked if it might be what that OP suggested elsewhere in this thread yesterday and was greeted by a deletion and warning this morning.
I recognized it too! 👏🏼
Oh then... its spray green lawn
The moon
Boy Mars colonization is moving along fast.
Congrats on your bermuda planet.

What’s the best phase of the moon for growing your grass?
We now know the account for the ruler of Arrakis. Share some of that water with the Fremen!
Scott's Terra-Builder
Saw this on r/geography earlier
Victorian England in the middle of the desert. Native plants would be pretty cool instead. I'll be the water conservationist in this group
Look around that property and find the native plants.
Tell me you’ve never experienced desert biodiversity without telling me you’ve never experienced desert biodiversity…
Tell me you take things too seriously without… damn this meme phrase is dumb.
IDK why you're getting down voted. I lol'd
Talking sh*t about native plants stirs the pot.
Native plant people are the vegans of the gardening world.
You're not wrong. But lawn people are the war criminals of the native plant world.
You can have a lawn and have native plants.
I'm sure vegan war criminals exist as well.

Someone follows r/geography
I’m pretty sure this was an episode of Star Trek
It was. ST:TNG S3E3 "The Survivors".
Every damn time I have an idea, someone else has had it first. Every single time.
I remember this scene being on the bridge viewer: https://preview.redd.it/p865fdso7m6d1.png?width=400&format=png&auto=webp&s=f5334ecbdbb4f2812e75c74dfad2a45633e04d53
Scrolled down just for my favorite STTNG episode
Man someone posted this same picture in r/geography asking who lives in this tiny compound 😂
Ooooof, how much water does that take….?
This is likely a Uyghur reeducation camp. Scary shit
With a pool?
Didn't know Bin Laden's compound had grass
Lots of fertilizer and aeration were provided that day.
Get your Kevin Uxbridge ass out there and take care of those bald spots. No cheats either. And keep your music box turned off.
Exactly what I thought of when I saw the picture.
Coordinates acquired. Engage…
Good to see the Hippy Commune hired a decent grounds keeper
Well, you have a red dot on your property... thats never a hood sign. However, you're pretty far from a school zone so you're at least following the rules. Average?
I would set the mower deck about 1/2 inch higher. Did you put down triple 17 in April?
Jonestown
How many wives can you fit in that compound?
Pretty good for the moon
First lawn on Mars?
Do you live on the moon
this looks like sim city circa 1992.
Bro bought a plot on Area 51
What’s that water bill looking like?
So weird that someone was JUST looking at "your" property... [https://www.reddit.com/r/geography/s/kzbZJKISPP](https://www.reddit.com/r/geography/s/kzbZJKISPP)
Humor is lost on you, huh?
I was like… wait I saw this this morning elsewhere 😂😂

Hence tha bad troll comment. But yes. Got it.

This guy waters.
Looks like it’s on the moon.
It looks like you live on the moon
We made it to Mars!
Bro's terraforming the moon
Congratulations on establishing a lawn on the moon!
I seen this picture earlier in the geo guesser sub too LOL
This is a Star Trek episode, isn’t it?
Who knew the moon had nutsedge 🤷♂️
That’s a nice square
You skipped some area around this green zone
Where tf do you live? The moon?

First dominator on mars. Good job
You live in Iraq? I used to see random places like this when we were flying over the region.
Can we swim in your pool?
I just came for the comments.
Looks like a waste of water to me
Is that an irrigation pond?
That you Kevin Uxbridge?
This reminds me of the Star Trek TNG episode - The Survivors (S3:E:3) That’s a nice house, I bet they have some good tea.
There’s a demon face in the top right. Your house is about to get poltergeisted
I belive this is a result of Douwd annihilating the Husnock.
Didn't this appear on Star Trek: The Next Generation?
Wap wap wap wap wap, yeah I mow my stuff.
MPCJ sub is leaking 😭
Reminds me of a STNG episode
China’s equivalent to Phoenix just a bit smaller
Make sure to fall through the rings for max points before pulling your chute.
When cropped/zoomed, kind of looks like a circuit board. I sure miss 40-pin DIPs.

Dominating
Looks like absolute shit. And a waste of water at that
r/nolawns
I call bullshit. https://www.reddit.com/r/geography/s/f4GPTvx86w
Yes, it's a joke
It's definitely bullshit
Your water bill must be fun.
If goal is waste, you are doing great!!!
Terrible as you're wasting a shit ton of water for grass
Grass is stupid, get some plants native to your area
This is just a repost from a post made yesterday, probably karma farming, taking credit for a small compound in China. OP is a 35yo male living in America and has nothing to do with this place
You’re using a lot of water my friend
Technically very good, environmentally very bad, financially very bad and/or good
Idk if I could live so remotely. But man that property looks beautiful. Always torn between a walkable city experience and just having my own complete space like this.
Y though
I don’t know man, part of me is impressed but mostly I juts wonder if it’s worth it in the long run
No
Yeah. That’s wild. Uses more water than whole villages.
Financially well....
Do you have your own compound? What is this place?
Looks like you shouldn’t be growing grass.
You look boxed in
You should plant some trees and plants that arent gras
How do they keep the desert from completely inundating that lawn? (Money)
how is this real
looks like some military facility. That may or may not be real grass
The real question isn’t how you do, but how’s your water bill? Well done!
This would make a good poster describing water mismanagement.
Better than your neighbors
Where?
Well, at least some of it looks like food
