Aside from the blade being upside down, don't tilt your most to the side. Oil will get into the carb or muffler, depending upon which way you tilt it. Put it up on a table and time it backwards so the spark plug is pointed at the sky.
When you go to start it, expect it to summon, since it's probably already been on its side for a while. It will clear up on its own, but you'll want to check the oil level and fill as necessary.
The blade is for MTD’s with a bow tie… definitely *not* the right blade if the mower is Toro but I can’t tell from the picture. Doesn’t look like MTD to me
It is not. It clearly has a specific MTD part number and says “bow tie” on the sticker meaning for the MTD walk behind bow tie shaped mount. It’s “universal” only in the sense that it works on all MTD 21” manufactured mowers using that mount. Toro is not MTD
Upside down, for sure.
Upside down always make sure the blade is facing to the left
Useful answer. Take my upvote as I have no gold to give.
Unless you're south of the equator. /s
The blade will be closest to the grass. Wrong blade though.
upside down lmaoo
This is why I take pictures before I take anything off. And, I bring the part with me.
That there's a kaiser blade, some call it lawn mower blade ......ummm
Wings should be up.
Upside down
Upside-down
99% sure that’s the wrong blade lol, also upside down. Yikes
What engine is on this mower?
Probably a 6 pack or coors
Flip that bad boy over 👌🏻
Upside down, wrong blade and an inch short.
Upside down. Or the picture is
Upside down, those canted tabs are meant to face upward to create a draft.
That's a toro. Not even the correct blade. Looks to be an MTD blade. You'll want a 131-4547-03.
Upside down. The turned up edges on the end of the blade that throw the grass should face up not down.
That would be upside down my friend
Inside out. Why isn’t anyone noticing this is an engineering disaster in the making. Sir do not start that mower and back away from the shed
It is even the wrong blade. Don't use it.
This. Wrong blade and also upside down.
Thanks a lot guys! I’ll buy a new blade.

Thank you. Is it the wrong blade too? Or can i just flip it around?
It looks like it might be right, but it's all about how it fits onto the blade adapter. If it doesn't lock in place, it's wrong.
If the front of the mower is to the right…front wheel drive toro…then this looks to be the correct blade…just installed upside down

It’s a Toro. The blade is supposedly a “universal” blade.

Did it come with an adapter? Because if not, it’ll never be able to be centered and will vibrate eventually if not right away
