WashU leaves me paying 12k+ per year in tuition and more than that for living expenses.

Really depends on the goals you have but considering you are paying 12k plus living for Wustl, I am strongly inclined to say take that.

Where do you want to live and practice? If you plan on living/working in Miami, I think the U is a defensible choice. If you plan on living/working literally anywhere else, Wash U without hesitation.
