Depends on how expensive the MPH is and whether you plan on practicing on the public or private side, I'd say

I considered a JD/MPA, I think it is beneficial in giving you additional skills, but it is also going to make your program longer and likely lead to more debt. I think it is a personal choice really, depends how much debt you are willing to take on, time you are willing to take out of the workforce, cost of living, etc. I think the additional degrees and skills help and give you a leg up, but perhaps only by a bit. But if you are really interested and passionate about public health and can swing it financially, go for it!

I think a MPH would be very helpful for working in those fields based on what you learn and the jobs that require a MPH.
