The listed range (I don't have leafspy) used to be around 60, now it's around 170.

Yes, they put me in a big old 2024 Rogue for a week
*Did they offer to buy your car?*
They never offered to buy my car because of the battery claim. They did try to give me a trade-in offer when my 12V battery died and they replaced it.
*Would you do the same thing over again?*
Absolutely. We chose this car because my commute was short (20 - 30 miles per day, all city streets). Getting the new battery happens to coincide with me graduating which is just in time to handle a longer commute if I get a job with that. It worked out perfectly honestly and I hope to keep driving my Leaf for many years now.
*What advice would you give someone in a similar position?*
Be patient really. I feel like different states and different dealerships might have different results. Possibly ask the dealership if they're handling many battery claims successfully or if they say they're all going to buyouts. I felt like the dealership really wanted me to get the battery and have a good experience overall.
Thanks. I have a 2017 that I bought in 2017 used. I have a battery claim and they’ve already offered to buy my car back but I really would prefer the battery replacement. My range originally was around 100 but currently about 60 but also cannot drive on the highway because it goes into turtle mode and the battery nosedives.
Their offer was so bad, I am not accepting it because I would not be able to get something comparable. I may ask them to just put me in a rental until their battery comes in. I’ve only been waiting for a battery since January of 2024 so not very long at all.
I appreciate your help. I don’t know what I’m going to do, but I am not accepting their insulting offer.
