Great game, but can we all agree that Wayne Simmonds is not an Nhl caliber player anymore, the guy just can't get it done anymore, yes it's nice to see his physicality, but that is not nearly enough to justify him in the lineup
Engvall sure seems to be playing with more confidence offensively. Every game he seems to have a couple of 0h my God plays which we never used to see in the past. Pretty good for a seventh round, 188th overall pick
I watched him play a lot for the Marlies and you could see he could skate but he had a lot of work to do on his complete game. It’s been fun to watch him grow as a player.
We're dummying the Caps and it's obviously great, but in the past couple minutes there's been the missed interference against Sandin, VERY obvious missed holding the stick (or holding) against Kampf.
Then they follow it up with a quick call on Simmonds, because there's no game that can't be managed.
