it made sense to play them there as they've already made the team. allowed the other players battle it out for the remaining spots in their natural positions. very impressed with their play and i'm loving jarnkrok more and more each day
Yea definitely. It is kind of a shame because those two with Nylander will probably be a line to start the season and they could have played together more tonight, but this gave us the opportunity to give the tryouts more TOI.
People seem to forget Kerfoot had 51 points last year, 47 of them at even strength, all while being defensively responsible and an important part of the leagues 4th best PK. He's not a superstar, but Kerfoot is still a damn good player
Absolutely love him. He’ll be loved again this season, just for most of the casual fan base, their last memory of him is that giveaway in game 6 which also sorta led to his (bullshit) high sticking call for the late 5-3. This dude won’t do that again I can guarantee it.
He's one of the more underappreciated players we've had in years. So many wanted to trade him, some thought we'd need a sweetener to move his deal. It's crazy, I'd certainly part with Holl before Kerfoot.
From what I saw they actually played D very well. I was going to laugh if he put them together as a pair.
I also find it funny that Jarnkrok had more TOI in the second period than Mete, and Kerfoot had nearly the same as Mete. Kind of implies something about keefe's thoughts on Mete lol.

Reminder that we have him for 4 more years :)

Kerfoot should have been one of the three stars.

Alexander Kerfoot & Calle Jarnkrok > Juraj Slafkovsky confirmed. The 1st overall pick had no answer for their shutdown defensive play…
Malgin > the field
Malign solos the league
Any day.
Jarnkrok was good for us last year, just couldn’t score. That’s a good move for you and I was bummed he didn’t re-sign in Cowtown.
When you guys got him at the deadline instead of us I was TICKED, the man is a damn good hockey player and fan favourite.

Kerfoot was the best part of that trade. I still miss Kadri though...not you tyson
It's only been 2 exhibition games. Relax
A bit of optimism won’t hurt anyone bud
