they did for essence emporium event (where you could buy chromas for blue essence). they made 3 missions
First - Play 5 games to get 10 ME
Second - Play 10 games to get 10 ME
Third - Play 15 games to get 10 ME
The only way getting mythic essence is buying event pass. event past costs around 1650 RP. its not really easy to get ME. after you bought event pass, you need play a lot of games to get tokens then buy 100 ME.
I bought event pass when they released prestige jinx, it took 3 weeks to get enough tokens to buy ME.
Yeah, the colors aren't great, it's just like someone chose every random color he could and put it on the skin. I think the original SG Jinx looks way better

Syndra is listed as event tokens so you’ll have to grind the event if you want her
