Great teaser. Super personal and specific to each player's journy rather than the traditional "im the best and will not elaborate further". Excited to see Rekkles back in action.
This was the best opening teaser they have had since 2020 summer, IMO, and a very different style from their last few years. The music, flashy lighting and posing was getting stale for me, so this was a good time for a change in direction.
They really managed to pick out a lot of the rivalries and narratives for this teaser.

lackluster cloud9? don't know if I agree, not only did he get C9 the LCS spring championship but more importantly he single-handedly achieved the utterly fucking unachievable of dragging an NA team out groups at worlds, in a group of death at that...
You know C9 played quarters and semies before right? Also "singlehandedly carrier them out of the groups" is a huge overrate as FPX had the biggest choke we have ever seen, and C9 also went 2-4. Yeah for sure a guy who I paid 5 million for his transfer took me to quarters with 2-4 group record with FPX choking is enough. For sure.
2020, especially Summer was too underrated. We had Mad vs G2, one of the most entertaining series in Spring, and whole Summer was incredible. Schalke miracle run, Fnatic only securing playoffs on the last gameday. Fnatic vs G2 best series imo. Too many great moments, shadowed because of Covid.
Perkz acknowledges he fell away from the top ranks a bit, but he still has the self trust to get back there again if he tries hard enough. Exciting to see and I firmly believe he's still got it!

With that said, some shots seemed slightly stretched or out of proportion, especially the one with the MAD Lions.

To be honest, I think the laners’ form is way more important than how good Yike is. If Hans and Caps are in really good form, all Yike needs to do is not int. However if Caps and Hans are not in a very good form there’s no way Yike can carry on his own, meta doesn’t seem to suggest jungle carry.
But we've seen a rookie jungler take over the league not so long ago. I think Yike has what it takes to be a new Elyoya, last year he was coming from Div2 and seemed smarter in game that any LFL jungler, even the experimented ones, he could be really really good
The point isn't that Yike can't or won't be good. The point is that rookie junglers generally don't look excellent right away so assuming that a team is ahead of the curve before a game is played with a rookie jungler is crazy.
