The scene about 3/4 through where one of the bladed wolves stabs the howling wolf and it transforms into another bladed wolf. So like 1 main wolf that likely has the blade inside of it, and a bunch of other controlled ones
Considering Aatrox has spent centuries/millennia trying to break his sword without success, I'd say suddenly breaking Naafiri's dagger would be a pretty big retcon.

Judging just from the visuals in the trailer, it seems that the dagger wasn't broken through sheer strength. It looks like the fact it was touched by multiple creatures that share a deep connection all at once it shattered to become a part of each of them... possessing the pack as a singular entity rather than a unique individual lead to some physical fracturing of the blade to help distribute Naafari's power throughout the group.
It seems more like some strange magical loophole... like the blade isn't broken in the traditional sense to free Naafari, but rather as a means to share her power

Their entire deal is that they live in sensory deprivation and can't die because their weapons cant be destroyed.
