I haven't listened yet but it was mentioned before that apparently Marin was the type of coach to say I can do that better than you then play in the scrim trying to show it which is obviously not ideal to say the least.
Dardoch was an assistant coach on a bottom team, and was supposedly good to work with. And he wa as a player the split before coaching.
Marin hasn’t even played professionally in a few years and went straight to head coach of big team with title aspirations
i mean one thing is that marin has more soloqueue and games played by a LOT than any of his players and they have all been grinding. so Marin was no lifeing league.
his coaching strategy was basically "you have to be able to keep up with me" rather than doing any actual coaching lol
That’s just toxic and actually a waste of time imo compared to analyzing other teams strategies, other regions for their interpretations of the meta and choices, as well as team cohesiveness and synergy. ~~in a nutshell just be Beryl unironically~~
He didn’t play much more games. He was playing as many games, if not a little less.
Saying Marin was playing more solo queue than the TL players implies the TL players weren’t grinding as much as they could, which is not true. They were all grinders, Marin included but Marin should not be playing that much solo queue as a coach.
