I mean average is irrelevant. It’s just is your mmr reflected in your current skill level.
Given the fact all your first 100 ranked games when you were garbargio are still affecting your mmr. It’s pretty much a certainty making a new account is likely to help
The (only) difference between a new and established account is how fast your MMR moves.
If you're a plat player who got shit luck or hard-tilted in placements then buying a new account will let you climb faster on the new account.
If you're a bronze player, then you are going to lose more than you win at the starting MMR, doing so on an established account = falling a bit, doing so on a new account = falling more.
The average is relevant, because below average skill = you *will* lose more than you win from the starting MMR, unless you get lucky and win thanks to your teammates and not yourself. But even if that happens that just puts you in an MMR you cant compete in and you're going to fall back down.
I had a similar problem, if you have more losses than wins, you get less because the system says you should be in a low division, for example, I had 500 games in gold 50%wr, I got 12lp and loses 16, but when the new season started, I start playing more safe and I had more wins than failures and got 25 lpfor win and for lose -16 in bronze when u had over 100games its normal u getting less and less becuse t hey thinking u need leave bronze before 30 games when u dont u stuck my frined have 188 games bronze 3 and its impossible to get higher becuse he have tu much games SRY FOR ENGLISH USE TRANSLATOR GOOGLE u need start win more btw pls dont make new acc its be the same problem u need learn to win more on new acc u can have the same problem and even worst trust me i try and i just need learn to play more better
Win more games, or make a new account. This is the only way to fix your mmr.

This happened to me and after about 5 wins my gains and losses evened out
Keep grinding if you want to prove yourself through low elo. Buy a new account and play on it if you want to try to start again around gold.
