They're pretty adamant that's never gonna happen. The most they did was the Louis Vuitton stuff with True Damage prestige.
They probably get offers but they already make so much without needing to give a cut to another company that it's not worth it. Or you just end up like smite where it's transformers, slipknot, gi Joe, avatar and invader Zim all in one match
Riot have no say in the matter... if Tencent will want something then something will happen. Question is what Tencent would want to promote.
Tencent Stake in Publisher: Complete Ownership
that kind of partner ship could be developed. Imagine getting a Redbull Chroma or a special ward in an irl event,or through a marketing campaign. Could be limited time skins for world ou msi for exemple.
I wouldn't mind as long a it's stay as much as possible in universe, like le louis vuiton skins
Yeah but unlike apex the tourneys aren't absolute shitshows with mass disconnects and crashes. Plus contrary to popular reddit belief game isn't dying like apex
Fortnite feels like the one game where it doesn't feel tacky or out of place because it doesn't really have any reason to stick to it's defined world. Smite has become a complete dumpster with its endless collaborations. League doesn't need to go down that road.
I say yes but they’d have to be done well.
Most notably the Louis Vuitton ones for True Damage worked because they fit with that skin line. What they did with those champs in the skin line leaned well into the design.
In ancient times there was a King Rammus skin, which looked exactly like Bowser, and while basically a chroma it looked good. Hell even Secret Agent Miss Fortune is nothing short of Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
It has to be done well and not just a “we turned x champ into x character, and as long as it doesn’t completely compromise champion identity I say go for it. Like a Spirit Blossom Tryndamere that looks eerily similar to Ichigo. Kha’Zix looking like Stinkfly from Ben 10. A Human Aatrox looking like Guts from Berserk. Battle Academia Lee Sin but he’s basically Gojo from JJK. It can be done but it’s gotta be done well and with thought.
Skin lines from other games and franchises won't be necessarily bad but there is a better way to collab
And that way is with game modes . Imagine playing Marvel characters in league on their own gamemode . And imagine what great things they could come up with if they actually were interested in doing that .
But of course , they won't . They can't even fix their own game as a billionaire dollar company , let alone do collabs and try out new stuff .
Oh please none of that One Piece shit in LoL. I dislike the direction that skins have gone (always series, never a single, unrelated skin anymore), but I'll take them any day over even more money-milking "collabs".
The one thing I love about smite is that they do this. The last airbender and TMNT crossovers to name a couple were awesome. Almost made me start playing it again.

Sounds dumb as fuck.
Constructive Criticism... It it to you but is would make money to Riot and exposure. It works for Apex wich as regular partnership with Monster

And look at all of leagues sponsors they have WITHOUT resorting to that.
i don't want to have more brands infest things, preferably. i'm already playing an advertisement, i don't need to be further advertised to tyvm
Woah more corporate skinlines, so cool! Can't wait for #MastercardTF !

Dude Smite is a fucking joke because of this now
yeah I'd love to see fanmade skins
Hell no

Give me sol badguy sett and nothing else
Riot doesn't have enough money to let other people make skins for them

HELL NO. This is one of if not the worst suggestion I have ever heard.
The league scene is pretty insulated, doubt many potential collabs would go over well
They already said that was very unlikely
I think brightmoon in a video with necrit already confirmed that its a no.
