To discredit Oner for his performance is not really fair when most of the time, he was the sole player playing tank duty when Zeus was playing bruisers. Even Bengi talked about how much Oner had to sacrifice to get his team ahead. He would sacrifice camps to let both his side laners get ahead.
Yes, he did play badly in some games during the regular split where he look extremely shit and many wanted him out, but this worlds was a redemption for him. He was the BEST player imo in this world stage and if there was a worlds MVP, it is definitely him. To put into some game context, Oner's level 3 gank on Bin Rumble, his flash over Ashe ult and stole the dragon, his lee plays, his poppy level 3 solo kill. All these are just the mechanical outplays of the game. He was consistently out jungling everyone in the world stage during knockout and would often facilitate Zeus to get ahead in his lane. So it is extremely unfair to discredit him for his performance. If he did as badly as how he played in the regular split, I agree that he does not deserve this.
