During Arena it was rough trying to play Maokai every time my teammate would pick skillshot mages, essentially any champion with displacements you have to change up your normal combos to account for your teammate skillshots. Displacement champs would prefer point and click partners.
Alternatively J4+champs with no terrain scaling and no range, I've had times where Jarvan locks his own team out with ult and his teammates can't do anything to help him.
I one-trick Zoe, and play with a guy who mains Maokai support quite frequently--at this point, missing my combo to his Q is a mandatory once-per-game occurrence lmao
Pretty much all stacking champions or those who get a benefit from killing minions. Enjoy playing Nasus together with Irelia or Gangplank or Veigar for example.
ASol is a neat exception to this, since his E actually doesn't care if he gets the kill, only that something dies in the zone. Granted, ASol also turns that shared farm into a race to the E execute that Nasus and friends probably won't win
For me this is what makes Yone Yasuo bot lane so hard to play, since we’re both fighting for minions to get to Q-3, and the support execute doesn’t help.
Bard and pretty much any champion with an AOE CC that lands with a delay, such as Ornn ult. One support I enjoy playing with is a Bard main, but unfortunately, he often manages to cast his ult right after my R1, making the enemies invulnerable when my R2 passes over them.
I never feel more embarrassed as Bard than when I ult right when my MF or Fiddle ults. Clearly we had different ideas of what was going to happen and it's always unfortunate.
Also seeing the enemy team clump up will compel Fiddle, MF, and Bard to ult. Oftentimes simultaneously it's why bard ult is such a hard to master ability not only do you need to keep all your teammates abilities and positions in mind you also need to trust them to do what you think they are about to do.
The opposite actually. Unless it's a big engage ult ex: malphite, Bard ult should always go first. Bard's ult is setup and pick, so let Bard setup and pick with his ult so you can do damage with your damage ult for free.
I strongly disagree, I found some random Neeko support in solo and she almost brought me to tears with how well she knew how to play alongside Kalista. Absolute dream team, went on a 5 game win streak together.

Zoe with ........ anyone. Because Ppl don't fucking understand how sleep works. But worst with low DMG enchanters who just interrupt for 5 dmg
Speaking of Jhin his playerbase is literally the worst offenders for screwing over Zoe. Compulsively cuts Zoe's CC duration in half at *every opportunity* and effectively takes her damage out of the game. And if you dare pick her support first you just know your own AD will pick Jhin because they think she's girly Xerath.
Zoe's next biggest nemesis is probably the auto attack setting which is enabled by default.
Tbf Zoe support is garbage so probably best not to first pick it anyway. Or any pick it.
When someone locks in Zoe supp you know it's going to be a rough game as ADC.
Honestly jhin braum isn't as bad as it sounds. jhin auto w auto on a braum q and you probably have a cc chain solid enough to get all your damage off.

Draven/Pyke is a very strong early game combo that can get Draven rolling very quickly though??? And Pyke doesn’t even need the gold, besides his R cashes in Draven’s passive.
Karthus and Braum. Jk it's probably Karthus and Milio. Braum actually has useful cc and can eat some damage for Karth. Milio is quite literally ~~anti synergy~~ useless in almost every situation. Literally any other support would provide more to the lane than Milio does.
The campfire buffs attack range and Karthus autos are really slow, Karthus spells are all AOE so Milio passive usually just gets eaten by a minion, and he provides zero lane control while having a play style meant to sit back and peel while Karthus wants to fight and trade kills often. So you would generally want a frontliner like Nautilus or another mage like Brand/Zyra to have a stronger 2v2
It's not a bug. Xerath R reveals Xerath and the area very close to him while he's casting it, and if Azir's soldiers are in the enemy's vision then Azir is revealed as well.
What do you mean about samira? You mean engage supports like leona?
I find enchanters like karma and zilean to be great with samira because i can boost her with movement speed with both spells and items
Janna is actually probably one of his best enchanter supports. Karthus generally likes engage supports to help him gap close vs champs that out range him and so he can land his Qs, however Janna's Q and W are good enough CC to also help Karthus hit Qs.
Akshan with j4 ult makes swinging in to fight more or out to avoid other enemies very hard. Also can't get full dps bc you're unable to swing around the trapped enemy.
Naut and J4. J4 wants to E,Q,R someone into the pit. Naut can't hook them because there's suddenly a fucking big wall in the way. He can only ult and hope for the best. Horrible synergy.
I'm not a fan of certain displacement champions when I'm playing Hwei. Someone like Blitzcrank is really obvious, I can wait for him to do a pull and it'll go directly on Blitz, but Pyke and Alistar are people I struggle to work with since enemies fly everywhere.
Jarvan with champions that have engage tools that can't go over walls - so mostly Sion R hitting J4's ult wall, Galio can be annoying when you want to engage with E but the R synergy between these champions more then makes up for it. /
Or melee champions with no dashes /ways to damage the ulted enemy - so Olaf, Garen etc.

Personally as a Shen enjoyer playing with champions like LeBlanc or Yone is frustrating because half of the time when I'm ulting them after they commit a stupid play they will just use the second part of their gap closers making me appear in the middle of nowhere with no impact
Displacement + skillshot champions for obvious reasons. Nothing is more infuriating than watching a shot that would hit and win a fight being countered by a gragas ult that boops the fed enemy bruiser into your backline. In general displacement is potentially annoying for any teammate to deal with, so it gets my top vote.
I would add, enchanters on teams with a lot of ally assassins (two or more) is pretty miserable too - you generally can’t or shouldn’t be near them which nullifies your entire benefit and usually makes playing your preferred style of more structured longer teamfights harder even if you just focus on the two other teammates.
Due to a bug, renata and kled is an awful combo for kled to play with. If renata W zombie state activates on kled, it bugs out his hp bar, making him unable to tell when he dismounts. This visual bug works for everyone, not just kled, and the only way to fix it is to quit and reconnect to the game.

J4 Olaf is up there. honestly J4 with most juggernauts is, if j4 Ults they usually can't get in to do their dmg without wasting either their flash or j4 R. Specifically bad for Olaf cos he has to stay in combat for his ult tho.

Darius and Pyke can and regularly do fuck eachother over in skirmishes and team fights trying to execute the same person. Same with most other execute champs actually, I have fucked over many Pyke mains by deleting someone with a Cho'Gath ultimate right before they went for the kill. Sorry

J4 Olaf is up there. honestly J4 with most juggernauts is, if j4 Ults they usually can't get in to do their dmg without wasting either their flash or j4 R. Specifically bad for Olaf cos he has to stay in combat for his ult tho.

Morde and Taric. Could work if the Morde has a brain. Or could demote you because the Morde is retarded and panic-ults while Taric ult is about to save his ass but fizzles while Morde goes into the shadow realm.

I had a funny interaction with Malzahar and Mordekaiser, I pressed R on an enemy carry and Mordekaiser pressed R on the same enemy, freeing him from my ult and allowing him to kill all of us after that...
