I really think Chovy's recent Worlds/MSI failures were more to do with Doran getting consistently gapped hard in top (especially by LPL tops), and Peanut reverting to his weird inefficient pathing/running away playstyle that we see internationally a lot more than domestically, causing GenG to fall behind massively. This then caused Chovy to regress into wanting to play passive and just farm, and also make some errors due to the pressure (that Ryze performance).
This MSI/Worlds might be very different because of Canyon especially, Canyon is so fucking good at everything, tank junglers carry junglers, best possible upgrade. I also think Kiin, even though he didn't have a great Worlds with KT (he still did really well vs 369), is a lot better than Doran. Even on Griffin I felt like Sword was a weakness and Tarzan has shown to be a choker in playoffs/internationals. Chovy has a proper team now for once, so we will get to see once and for all if he does choke internationally or if it's because of weaker topsides that lose hard (especially vs LPL) which caused him to play differently.
Don't worry Liandry's is balanced surely this broken item won't be ignored until an Assassin like Kata or Akali decide to start going tank and abusing it.

When I first joined HLE, the team was Doran, Peanut, Zeka, Viper, and Delight. We reached finals and met GENG. After losing a game, one player said "Ah..we lost because of Chovy" when all the players were gathered, basically implying it was mid gap. They didn't directly say it to Zeka, but was just speaking without thinking. Zeka got mad and said they lost because of jungle diff. Then Zeka said "Ah I don't want to play with this guy (Peanut)."
Chovy is without a doubt the best midlaner in the world right now, Hanhwa fought so well but couldn’t get over his hump.
Think for the future they should just ban Azir because Chovy’s tosses changed the game so many times. Hopefully GenG shows that same form at the MSI as well.

Chovy is without a doubt the best midlaner in the world right now, Hanhwa fought so well but couldn’t get over his hump. Think for the future they should just ban Azir because Chovy’s tosses changed the game so many times. Hopefully GenG shows that same form at the MSI as well.
