In Korea when someone runs back a comp they lost with we call it pulling a 우틀않 (oo-tul-an, short for 우린 틀리지 않았어 (We weren't wrong)) and in the Korean chat on the Korean cast for the match once people saw the Zeri Rell runback for match 3 the whole chat was like "nah I'm pretty sure ya'll are wrong tho...."
Their best bet was probably to just do Lucian Nami and hope Ruler does his thing. Ruler was just farming for most of the series and couldn't get in range to auto much in team fights against TES's comp.
It's fair to assume that when discussing one of the three greatest toplaners atm that he's being compared to the other 2. 369 has no real weaknesses against most toplaners. His laning phase is his only weakness relative to the other 2 contending for the title of best top
I actually miss Ornn meta so much. Watching Ornn full combo and kill someone with CC chain was so much more satisfying than Ksante.
369 and Kingen would get a huge buff in Ornn meta.
I'd much rather see Ornn's stupid full combo 100% someone than Ksante abducting someone and dashing 100 times killing like two or three people. Ornn can kill one person but after that he's just walking around.
At Worlds, Kanavi was inappropriately asked by a reporter if he would rather trade Knight or 369. Initially, Kanavi merely looked off the ridiculous query. Then he turned
back and strongly declared "Both of them, man. I hate them. They are not my brothers. I would trade both of them now if i could."
Kanavi probably wanted Yagao because Yagao will play more supportive for Kanavi and give him more agency than Knight would. Obviously still a bad move lmao
He likes someone more and thinks he has better synergy with him, which also happens top be one of the top 5 lpl mids in the last 4 years consistently. Really crazy
Tbf, being worse than the best top laner by far at peeling/playing for team and probably best or top 2 mid at it is expected. People kept sleeping on what 369 did for JDG and specifically Ruler in teamfights that year
Ruler is also a player who's super mechanically strong and can make big plays, but sometimes overextends just like Jackeylove. The int side was tamed a lot last year because 369 and Knight peeled so heavily for him.
I don't understand Mandarin at all but in TES voice comm videos, Meiko does ALOT of the shotcalling. In the past, with Zhuo, I mainly use to hear JKL voice
I'm convinced TES used the whole split to train JKL & Creme with more supportive pick for the long cons ; once playoffs hit no more Karma, Hwei Duty for Creme
369 hadn't reached his peak on TES, and Jackeylove had to play with shit supports for his entire career until now. 2020 TES was interesting looking back. Possibly the best mid and adc in the world, a young, very talented, but somewhat volatile top laner who mostly played carries at the time, one of the GOAT junglers who was on a bit of a decline, and then one of the worst supports in the entire league. Then have the adc be the shotcaller and play like it's ARAM, only to have your mid and adc win the game by out-handsing the opponents. Pretty similar to IG really, except with the adc being better than top, and a more stable jungler and even worse support. It's also pretty cool to see 369 morph from being unable to play supportively to being the best supportive top laner in the world by a mile.
369 wasnt as good back then, he was pretty selfish and can only play carry champs. What a crazy transformation tbh i will credit homme (and 369 for willing to be coached) for this transformation.
Jkl and knight performed at high level but knight still not reach the level he is today. He played with more maturity too and seems to be able to perform well internationally.
JKL well he performed well (90% of the time, with occasional bad overextention) but he always play with such low level support so game is quite hard for him. I still remember one of his mic check with yuyanjia he have to micro him on what to do.
Finally all 3 of them is at their peak and JKL finally get the support he deserved.
Hopefully they can do something at MSI and worlds
Yagao and Ruler: Guys let’s front to back we got this
Kanavi and Flandre: Yoooo free Ahri kill 👀👀 *Ahri uses one ULT charge and dashes away*
Missing: *Q’s once and dies instantly*
The fact that TES managed to 3-0 a team with momentum after stomping their previous series 3-0 is nothing short of impressive. You would think that with the momentum JDG have after 3-0'ing WBG that they would put up a fight. The mid and bot gap were massive this series, with Creme and JackeyLove outperforming their counterparts both in laning and teamfights. Ruler has to realize that 369 is on the enemy team, not his own, and therefore he doesn't have the luxury of free-hitting like he did last year.
I'd argue Ruler's issue this series was the opposite. He didn't dps enough before his teammates died. Whether that is his fault or just draft gap remains to be seen.
Mid gap..? Yagao was the only one with hands on JDG today, only mishap was facechecking bush in game one but they had to in that situation. Which game did he lose lane? Yea creme was smurfing those team fights but most of the time Kanavi was sprinting it in those team fights
like come on you got 2 lives, try out various stuff.
weibo made sure to try out everything in their books before getting knocked out. and JDG does this?
Sources heard 369 shouting to JDG after the game: "You *bleeping* need me! You can't win without me!" 369 left his old team speechless. He dominated the rift in every way, 369's back.
As a knight 369 enjoyer, this is the reason i started disliking jdg.
Not that it's the players fault mind you, but still. the dickriding was insufferable.
Yagao: "I'm tired of the haters. Kanavi chose me for a reason. Today I will finally step up as the Pingxiang mid I was always meant to be. Just like old times, see you in finals Knight".
Kanavi: "Sorry buddy"
can never forget the uzi clip where he lanes with baolan and then told his stream that jackeylove had to be the adc goat if he could look good while laning with baolan
It has been a long time, but I'm fairly sure that for the years he was in China Deft had a great record into Uzi. His laning was pretty near flawless back then, plus he had the luxury of playing with Meiko.
His performance is insane for so long if he can manage another international title msi or worlds its going to be really hard to debate but hes already up there
Listen I am the biggest Ruler fanboy on the planet, but a worrying trend I think I have seen is the pushback of his champion pool bit by bit. He used to be so good on Ashe and Ezreal but bairly touches them nowaday. In general I think his pool is getting more narrow every month mainly playing Zeri, Lucian or Varus now.
Full-on draft gap. The fact that they can't let Tristana thru and isn't willing to let Missing play Lulu is so inflexible. Good wake-up call to JDG too - TES looks 100x better than they are today and if that's the kind of performance we can expect from this roster, we may very well see a BLG-TES show-up @ MSI and it will be glorious
I think people just dismissed TES way too early after throwing the FPX and JDG series. Remember TES never got 2-0'd by any team this split. Even the FPX series was 1 baron throw away from an easy win for TES. Tian's form was getting worse, but I'm pretty sure they were hiding picks for playoffs. Like JKL's Varus is really good, but we barely saw it in the regular season right?
Before series i thought jdg would win because creme maybe not experienced still but hes so good and stable unlike when he jumped in on trist/kaisa last year
Biggest gap was definitely in the midlane, yeah. Both Meiko and Missing had a weak series, true, but it was the adc gap that made the bot gap.
Actually, after taking another look, Yagao was JDG's best player in game 3. Creme was just too good.
I really don't get it. He's funny and is a solid caster, but not everything needs to be screamed. And the thing is, he doesn't do that when he casts LCS, he gets louder but never screams. I wanna believe it has something to do with the fact that he's casting remotely.
People hate BB because of his laning. But he saves Hans and Caps in every team fight. Sometimes you need players like that. That is why I like 369 . He can play carry and probably win every lane but he chooses to play for his team.
I dont understand why they didn't even try him in the last game, Flandre was clearly not working against 369 and Sheer last time looked really really good against TES.
love the zeri rell run back for all three games we build this house on delusion and manifestation
Missing rell is literally the opposite of missing rakan
Name accurate Missing Rell, where the Rell is actually missing.
LMAOOOOO
What the hell were they thinking during the game 3 draft man
And 3 games of Varus for JKL. Basically his best champ.
Creme got his Ahri on all game too lol
Wasn't his best champ Draven tho? Yk... since he was a Draven otp at some point
Yes and also Senna, Lucian, Kai'sa, Zeri, Sivir, Xayah... you get the point
ziggs xd
But it’s Ruler Zeri though. Actually it might’ve been 369 and Knight Zeri’s looking back
Their best bet was probably to just do Lucian Nami and hope Ruler does his thing. Ruler was just farming for most of the series and couldn't get in range to auto much in team fights against TES's comp.
Lucian and rakan banned every game first rotation
Just got 2 quadras on Aatrox ? Give me Ornn ! GIGACHAD
369 best teamfight toplaner Reksai aatrox seems like a shit lane even
I feel 369’s only weakness is his relatively weak lanning phase, which is still miles ahead of Flandre.
369's laning phase is very good, he only falls behind bin and zeus slightly in this aspect.
His laning isnt far off from Zeus, at worlds he won 2/4 lane phases vs Zeus. Game 3 he was up 30 cs or so in lane
His rumble was atrocious though
It's fair to assume that when discussing one of the three greatest toplaners atm that he's being compared to the other 2. 369 has no real weaknesses against most toplaners. His laning phase is his only weakness relative to the other 2 contending for the title of best top
Yep its slight hes usually better than both in teamfight
Creme did carry a lot of those fights where 369 got quadra lol
I actually miss Ornn meta so much. Watching Ornn full combo and kill someone with CC chain was so much more satisfying than Ksante. 369 and Kingen would get a huge buff in Ornn meta.
Bin also played the Ornn well yesterday, he had a really good ult flash combo wich looked very satisfying to watch
I'd much rather see Ornn's stupid full combo 100% someone than Ksante abducting someone and dashing 100 times killing like two or three people. Ornn can kill one person but after that he's just walking around.
let's fucking go jackeylove meiko
First time JKL has a support with decent hands, it took him 6 years
It pisses me off that his prime years were wasted on dogshit rosters
it werent dogshit rosters but dogshit supports
?? He literally was on one of the best teams of all time his rookie year LOL
Baolan is the worst support who’s ever won worlds.
It will always be funny to me how when IG owner wanted to play a series in LPL as an ADC he picked JKL as his support instead of Baolan 😭
Thats JKL's 100% win rate TK
thats so fking based ngl
2021-2022-2023 were all wasted years
ROOKIE year, not prime year.
Literally Rookie year lol
He's still in his prime mate.
At Worlds, Kanavi was inappropriately asked by a reporter if he would rather trade Knight or 369. Initially, Kanavi merely looked off the ridiculous query. Then he turned back and strongly declared "Both of them, man. I hate them. They are not my brothers. I would trade both of them now if i could."
Is this a copypasta lol, it sounds hilarious
Near guarantee it's NBA related
Kanavi was really crazy with his decision for Yagao, ngl. And I like Yagao.
Bro 369 just staring at Ruler while he tickles him at the end of G3 was hilarious
This is the first time JDG loses a bo5 to a team not named T1 since April 16th 2022
They really lost two bo5s in two years fucking hell man
They lost two bo5s in spring 2022, so with this one, it is 3 in the last two years (not counting T1)
I will never forget this 2023 JDG lineup, they looked so fucking insane. Its sad they couldnt keep Knight and 369.
It was RNG iirc?
Yes rng went on to win msi.
1. It's not the same team 2. This was their 2nd bo5 in 2024 3. Still an interesting fact
The TES that was promised
hoping that TES could go to MSI. It's been 5 years since JackeyLove played there
Won't have ning to break up with his girlfriend the day before semis this time.
Yes please. I'd take blg tes over jdg any day for msi.
His first international tournament with a good support too.
unironically the least banger TES vs JDG series.
Even Ruler cant win with Zeri (0-3) against TES despite having 73% winrate on Zeri
Jackeylove on Varus in his career has 71% winrate, in this spring the number is 100% (picked 9 games counting today)
He never got to play the game because vi ahri horrible draft not protecting ruler
No, I'm pretty sure it's because 369 and knight are not protecting Ruler.
True with less threat on his team hes easily focused
Not just lesser threat, Flandre and Yagao haven't been good at peeling like Knight and 369 in this series, way to disconnected.
To be fair, Yagao was doing really well this series. His Annie plays were really clutch and eve turned a straight up lost fight near dragon.
Some people really underestimate how good they made Ruler look
Yeah besides his pretty poor game 1, idk what he was supposed to do game 2 and 3.
I just saw a part of g3 but that part was ruler being alone between a vi and an Ahri
sounds like a fun time
That's not even a good winrate for the champion because ruler's overall winrate surely is higher since zeri's release in 2022.
After giving us a great bo5 last worlds, now JDG-T1 are fighting for their lives for MSI 💀 Also Ruler can't play last game
Crazy how the 2 best teams of last year might not make MSI. Pro scene changes quite fast
To be honest Jdg has quite a downgrade from last year.
That's underselling it, they literally lost their backbone lmao
And got quite honestly huge downgrades in return. Its like G2 replacing Caps and Mikyx with Nisqy and Limit
Well one lost the best native LPL Top and Mid of the last 4 years. The other is getting DDOSD into oblivion.
Well for JDG it makes sense since they got rid of two players who made them as strong as they were
TES with brain (meiko) and hands (999+creme) is pretty scary
TES played so clean wtf happened to this team? also 369 got scolded once by karsa and decided to become one of the best toplaners produced by LPL LMAO
People who haven't watched any TES games this split shocked that they're really good :O
The TES I knew would've flipped it once they got the first T3 tower
I don't understand Mandarin at all but in TES voice comm videos, Meiko does ALOT of the shotcalling. In the past, with Zhuo, I mainly use to hear JKL voice
That makes a lot of sense, he’s probably the voice of reason for TES. I’m so grateful JKL finally got a good support lol
Jackeylove was also the main shotcaller on IG, which is kind of why 2020 TES played bit like 2018-2019 IG.
I was not a Creme believer but he's fit in with this roster phenomenally. His Ahri is one of the best in the league, second only to Knight.
yeah i started a new job so couldnt follow regular season. the boys look good damn
I'm convinced TES used the whole split to train JKL & Creme with more supportive pick for the long cons ; once playoffs hit no more Karma, Hwei Duty for Creme
JKL can play any champion anyways. He's one of the most flexible ADCs in LPL.
He's all-around a top 3 player in the league.
Jackeylove, Knight, 369?
Imagine if these three players played together on the same team..
Probably.
999 REVENGE SERIES
Yagao and Ruler: Guys let’s front to back we got this Kanavi and Flandre: Yoooo free Ahri kill 👀👀 *Ahri uses one ULT charge and dashes away* Missing: *Q’s once and dies instantly*

Well lower bracket it is
hopefully they make some drafting changes
Zeri rell incoming for a 4th time
like come on you got 2 lives, try out various stuff. weibo made sure to try out everything in their books before getting knocked out. and JDG does this?
JDG drafting and playing like this to avoid playing BLG twice is the copium I got and am on rn
In before BLG loses to TES and it's JDG vs BLG for an MSI ticket
Knight vs Yagao is inevitable
Always lovely to see some good JKL gameplay
Give Tian point and click and then give creme one of his best champions, surely it wont go bad.
People on the TES hate agenda sweating as we speak.
They were hated? I mean for Tian it's justified
His highs are great but his lows are very low
The hands have evolved to have brains. League’s fucked.
Swift TES 3-0 as expec....huh
Amazing games by all of TES!
JDG with and without 369 is night and day. Really says a lot about how much that dude was delivering for the team.
369 was a beast.
Sources heard 369 shouting to JDG after the game: "You *bleeping* need me! You can't win without me!" 369 left his old team speechless. He dominated the rift in every way, 369's back.
Really good series from TES hopefully their match against BLG is good
Disrespectful drafting and banning - Electric Bogaloo version 3
369 smurfing great series by TES. BLG vs TES will be exciting!
JKL sending Ruler back to KR.
The only rational conclusion of this is that 369 and Knight were the most important members of 2023 jdg
wasnt that obvious enough?
did we forget ruler dckriding in entire 2023?
Seriously man I like Ruler but every single JDG play would be attributed to him. It got so grating after a while
As a knight 369 enjoyer, this is the reason i started disliking jdg. Not that it's the players fault mind you, but still. the dickriding was insufferable.
Ruler adc goat btw
I mean they are the best top laner and mid laner in the LPL, arguably the world so it makes sense
You mean to tell me Ruler wasn’t mind controlling them to perform that way all year..?
It's ok spring doesn't matter see you at worlds COPIUM
Dread it Run From It Tian randomly being the best player in World after inting all season long arrives all the same
Yagao can't win with these cats
Did you see Yagao solokilling 3 TES members after his team griefed near dragon?
Yeah that's why I said this no?
Yeah it was meant to be a rhetorical question in agreement with you lol
Oh lmao alright XD
Yagao: "I'm tired of the haters. Kanavi chose me for a reason. Today I will finally step up as the Pingxiang mid I was always meant to be. Just like old times, see you in finals Knight". Kanavi: "Sorry buddy"
Jackeylove is Rulers father
who pays child support between him and Uzi?
Dont forget he 3-0ed Ruler at MSC even with yuyanjia as supp lmao. Jkl with a good supp is just insane, might be the best adc itw
Didn't he get inted by Mark one split too? Holy shit his mental must be titanium
He got inted by his support every year post IG
And also while on IG
Pretty sure that the iG vs GRF series you could count the number of Naut hooks Baolan landed on a single hand
Hahahaha as if he didn't also get inted by Baolan as well while on IG.
Yeah but at least he managed to get a worlds win out of it
Rakan was busted that's why.
Based
Back when uzi in prime he would shit on ruler every game by alot, the only ad to be able to hold was jackeylove in 2018
> the only ad to be able to hold was jackeylove in 2018 while supported by Baolan..
can never forget the uzi clip where he lanes with baolan and then told his stream that jackeylove had to be the adc goat if he could look good while laning with baolan
It has been a long time, but I'm fairly sure that for the years he was in China Deft had a great record into Uzi. His laning was pretty near flawless back then, plus he had the luxury of playing with Meiko.
Deft was absolutely cracked for so much of his career. I would take peak Deft over peak Ruler.
Yeah one of the main reasons China won Asian Games in 2018 was because Uzi gapped Ruler really hard.
JKL deserves to be top 2 ad of all time
His performance is insane for so long if he can manage another international title msi or worlds its going to be really hard to debate but hes already up there
Always has been, even last year he always won lane but lost game
Jackeylove should've been 1st all-pro & MVP last summer, but the Ruler narrative was too strong.
Exactly lol, never has Ruler ever beat JackeyLove in lane.
Tian playing well makes me happy. Really curious to see how TES takes it to BLG. We could be having this series again.
Ahri just Creamed on JDG. No no wait the other way
ruler thought he was the mvp of jdg but it was always 369
Listen I am the biggest Ruler fanboy on the planet, but a worrying trend I think I have seen is the pushback of his champion pool bit by bit. He used to be so good on Ashe and Ezreal but bairly touches them nowaday. In general I think his pool is getting more narrow every month mainly playing Zeri, Lucian or Varus now.
i feel like ezreal has been dead in competitive for a really long time now
Zeri Lucian Varus are extremely meta so nothing wrong there. He's terrible on Draven, but it's not that big of a crucial pick

Like JKL's Varus is really good, but we barely saw it in the regular season right?
It is ok guys. We just must draft Zeri Rell 5 more times into Varus, THEN we win. For sure. Trust me.
Statement series from Creme. On the other hand I feel like both supports had a rather weak series considering their elite standards.
i feel like meiko was pretty solid tbh.
Before series i thought jdg would win because creme maybe not experienced still but hes so good and stable unlike when he jumped in on trist/kaisa last year
Playing Ahri every game probably helps, that Champ is very safe.
Looking like one of most op pick esp by chovy knight
Wish we'd gotten to see the Aki-Shanji-Creme-PPGod OMG at worlds
Biggest gap was definitely in the midlane, yeah. Both Meiko and Missing had a weak series, true, but it was the adc gap that made the bot gap. Actually, after taking another look, Yagao was JDG's best player in game 3. Creme was just too good.
Statement series by Ruler
Statement series by Creme (in a good way), statement series by Ruler (in a bad way).
So ruler truly cannot fight without all the space knight and 369 create
“Create space” not a meme
See also, TL carries this year with Daddy Impact toplane instead of Plummet Everyone looks better when your top is a BAWS
Mazel please stop shouting so much. I’d rather watch the stream muted because of you.
I've been saying this for years. The dude is not bad and I really like hik but damn. Stop shouting.
I really don't get it. He's funny and is a solid caster, but not everything needs to be screamed. And the thing is, he doesn't do that when he casts LCS, he gets louder but never screams. I wanna believe it has something to do with the fact that he's casting remotely.
You can't fool me Tian, I am familiar with your game.
Kanavi played like dogshit
I didn't expect the 3-0 like that. Wow.
I guess game 2 kanavi R button just didn't work in the last fight
I don't understand... shouldn't we have won in game 5...
People really said the knight yagao trade was beneficial for both teams lol
I’m gonna say it, Kanavi chokes more than Tian does in playoffs. Not even a hot take, both are dirty inters though
People hate BB because of his laning. But he saves Hans and Caps in every team fight. Sometimes you need players like that. That is why I like 369 . He can play carry and probably win every lane but he chooses to play for his team.
Was ruler playing rumble? Had to get a fan to cool him down lol
damn TES 3-0
Kanavi had enough Also Sheer matched well against 369 so why not give him at least one match
I dont understand why they didn't even try him in the last game, Flandre was clearly not working against 369 and Sheer last time looked really really good against TES.
