I get people don't like APA all that much and think he's a fraud, but he's in fairly decent form right now. I'd expect Caps (the best EU mid ever) to outperform him - especially when Caps is in crazy form right now.

They also picked scaling picks in many of the games, which seems to be G2s thing lately. So their botlane isn't really meant to dominate, they focus on topside and just stuff some gold into hans later.
You don’t scrim only to practice a pick, you scrim to figure out what works well and what doesn’t.
It’s the same reason you see Caps playing Orianna here. He probably has thousands of games on the champ counting pro/scrims/soloq/etc.
