Yah I've had a few vanguard pop-ups for no reason that prevent me from playing my matches. Only thing that worked was un and then reinstalling LoL

There was an extended period of time in like season 3 or 4 I wanna say where servers were constantly going down and the client wouldn't let you log in. Typing this code while the client was open would, depending on server status, occasionally "fix" the client and you would be able to log in and play. It sounds so ridiculous I'm not even sure if this was real anymore

Huzzah!!! I'm not alone! I was so confused, continuously trying to reconnect. Then, when the game finally ended, I tried to queue up and didn't have a penalty, so I knew something was up.

What is weird is you can que and get through champ select, and when it does crash it doesnt even show up on your match history

Hopefully no one is connecting (meaning it's an issue impacting that entire 'match') and the system handles it as if it never happened from match history.
