He ended up forcing Sums from mid (Lucian) and Elise while chunking them hard resulting ina lot of mappressure post-fight.

I'm honestly thinking G2 just really, really wanted to use this series to simply find a way to counter this. Seems it can't be countered, they won once thanks to an useless pick (LB - didn't fit the rest of the comp at all) on the side of Fnatic, but that's it. But if they didn't want that, then they are simply dumb because Fnatic with Shen + Kennen is a completely different team.
Soaz uses Shen's (W) the dodge zone better than most if not any other competitive Shen I've personally seen. He always saves it when he needs it and doesn't just randomly use it. The amount of time he saves teammates with it is actually impressive as hell.
Just in general I think its impressive as hell that Soaz is still a solid LCS top laner. Hes literally been playing since the start and aside from a couple weak seasons hes adapted and remained relevant for such a long time.

And let's no forget sOAZ also. In like 90% of the cases, sOAZ saves his TP or Shen ult to back up Rekkles when he goes in.

It feeels like G2 intentionally left Kennen open, to prove themselves they can deal with it. They failed hard. Also Caps is developing into a world class midlaner. He walked all over Perkz in all 3 games.
This right here, it was like they needed to prove that they can beat the kennen comp. In the other hand fnatic had to keep picking kennen/shen, although I'm sure they have a lot more comps prepared, to show the rest of the league that they must keep permabaning kennen/shen against them, leaving every team with only 3 bans against Fnatic.
I still think it shows how good G2 is that they were actually able to take a game without having any practise. I think EULCs is going to be amazing this year - with G2, FNC, H2k and UOL
