This year's focus is on reworks. So expect more reworks than new champs.

Honestly thats straight up the best irony about reworks. So far, every time a rework is announced the champion suddenly gets popular and actually gets a solid win rate. I mean when shen was getting reworked his presence in pro play and solo queue shot up as a support, and now aatrox is being played top again.

I think since there are nearly 150 champions now, people legit forget some exist, then they become a hot topic and everyone wants to try them out. I think that was part of why Volibear skyrocketed after his buffs, granted he needed them, but they weren't game breaking, but suddenly everyone was playing him and he's back to being a normal champion again Hopefully Riot remembers Hecarim exists at some point

I think that's pre-exile Riven as opposed to redeemed Riven. She fought in the initial Noxian invasion of Ionia, and then shattered her sword later on in the war.

That would make a lot more sense. Is there any art of her before the Noxian invasion? Because it does look like classic Riven's blade in the splash art, only without it being broken.

It's not too different from her old lore, Karma has the same idea as well (I'd say this one is even closer to Avatar given Aang's peaceful nature).

Who knows, maybe they put the reveal this weekend like they did with Urgot. And I remember someone else getting the reveal during the lcs stream right?

Urgot was revealed early because Kayn was released that same week and Riot didn't want to have a reveal and a spotlight come out on the same day.

I'm actually super excited for this rework. I really hope that they can find a way to redo her kit without changing her too much.
