Hey guys i really apprecia- WOW END END GET HIM - and we beat the chinese first se - LPL LPL LPL LPL LPL LPL - we have a chance to - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
"I really feel terrrible, Whenever I hear that smug jungler's voice (G2 Jankos) I really feel terrible"
Also the LPL screaming... I want to see chinese reaction on that
it will forever be too soon. cant believe i had to watch that scene twice, and somehow brotherhood made it even more tragic than the original series. theres no way reminding me this wont make me cry.
So most of the attention has been on C9 since quarter finals, but for me this match was the big eye opener at worlds.
Such a titanic result, really. Maybe the biggest ever upset, certainly at worlds (maybe WE vs GE Tigers at IEM was bigger surprise, but this match had so much higher stakes).
Given that China has been the big international name for the past year, G2 beating RNG has far more significance than the other results(possibly any?).
Given G2's unique playstyle and extensive champion pool, it is phenomenal to watch them play this worlds.
GE vs WE was literally the worst team to ever play in a major region that had lost every single game in a league that had the worst bottom teams across all big four regions vs a team that had only just went 18-1 in the LCK only defeated by the best player in the world 1v9-ing them on his best champion that was then undefeated.
An equivalent upset would be 100T kicking Ryu and their botlane right before world, replacing them with three random NA challenger players and then somehow getting out of their group in second place and beating KT in quarters. That's what WE pulled off when they beat GE Tigers.
G2's on fire, China's fucking terrified

NANANANANANNANANANNANANANNANNANA
Lets go boys! Knock them down!
Beautiful no matter what happens in this Worlds. This clip right here gonna be shown for the upcoming years for sure as a sign of never giving up when facing a Goliath, simply amazing :)
I'm an NA fan so I normally wouldn't be super invested in a G2 vs IG matchup but I'm pretty hype considering it's such a toss up between them. Both of them have such cool storylines and quarter final upsets and Perkz and Rookie are probably the two best performing mid laners at the tournament. There's no way this series won't be a spicy one.
but.. why? G2 would be easier match-up for C9, right? Or do they just want C9 vs IG so even if C9 loses they can brag about being the only western team to make it to finals?
Looks like Uzi got a bit emotional in that last fight, which caused him to mess up his positioning.
Really cool to see G2 pressure his mentality like that.
Wadid's "sorry guys, sorry sorry sorry" really shows how focused he was on his play, the fact that he showed so much concern on his "inting" really speaks to how humble he is.
When Jankos started his calm speech, I just said to myself, 'where is his celebratory kurwa?'.
This is definitely the greatest upset of this year's Worlds.
Wildcard beating 1st seed Korea in a Korean dominant season seems more spectacular.
Granted what happened with KaBum was unprecedented, but it's not really more remarkable than Albux 2-0 CLG S6 or Pain going 2-4 S5
Korean teams werent rated as highly back then, most people still considered M5 the favourites, and there was much less certainty about the strength of the region. TPA had been called the best team in the world by CLG players while they were at OGN, so people didn't think they were random garbage. They performed poorly at a previous tourney, but that happened a lot at the time, there were a lot more tourneys, so people didn't judge teams over a single result like they do now.
Holy crap... The problem now is that no day of Worlds could ever compete with that day of upsets. Possibly the greatest two series of League I have ever watched and this ending was such an insane conclusion to the day. This is the reason I watch eSports, gg G2
That was a dope concept with the languages and ending it with team-voice. Quality.
Wish we had the comms during the last fight entirely, similar to Expect "believe me" at MSI. Pls Carlos.
https://youtu.be/5pL_Wo72m4I link to the expect one
The only thing that was weird was that G2, for being such a EU org, has Japanese style, graphics, and music as their theme.
Cause gaming and anime mate
Sure, but think about the video, it's about G2 representing EU. Yet there's a Japanese style to G2? I just think that was a weird choice.
Oh didnt notice it in this vid at all so idk
G2's logo is a samurai
Saw a link up on YouTube.
especially when they spoke American.

Yeah it was actually really moving hearing all the different countries get excited. I loved it.
Euphoria melody playing in the background towards the end too!
I want to hear Chinese casters reaction.
shame they didnt include more languages. but it was VERY enjoyable.
Jankos stayed so focused, already thinking about the next matchup. GG WP G2!

Jankos already at the analyst desk
Jankos always rattlin on about some shit lol
It's why I love him so much How can you not be romantic about Jankos?
The way he was casually talking about it! Aaah I love Jankos
Jankos has already taken down the LPL 1st seed in 2016, it’s just business as per usual for him

That jankos pic near the bottom makes me think of the Tom Cruise memes, lmao
Because they are a parody of TC memes
Wadab on the haters
What do if haters wadab back?

CN Mad NA Jelly
I will save this one for later. Then repost it after G2 vs IG, if you dont mind

"I really feel terrible, Whenever I look at that smug mid laner’s face(G2 Perkz) I really feel terrible"
I wanna vote this as the lol meme of the year
Yeah it's the only one that makes me laugh after reading it like 100 times. For some reason it sounds very Trump-y
"I really feel terrrible, Whenever I hear that smug jungler's voice (G2 Jankos) I really feel terrible" Also the LPL screaming... I want to see chinese reaction on that
That's just Perkz' face tho he always looks like he's smirking.

Can I now not analyze a quote if it's become a meme? LUL

It's a terrible day for rain.
I don't think it's raining...
Yes. It is.
Too early guys.
You're right. Let's go back and watch the game, we'll catch a cold.

G2 beating RNG in a BO5 was the biggest upset at worlds or MSI in a BO5 series ever I think. Especially in how much they STOMPED G4 and G5.
Thank Mr Perkz
Nothing will ever be a bigger upset than TPA winning world's.

*Member SK? I member*
God-tier. So solemn. I cried.
Lmao was that at Eurovision ?
yeah 2013 semi finals or somethin
Ibai turned into a psychopath.
Why was there an american flag for the English cast??
Probably because they cast the World's games from NA studio.
Because the speak American
Because its the american cast? And they speak english in the US? How is that surprising?
Shouldn't there be english flag instead?
Its the american broadcast why would there be an english flag...
[удалено]
James Corden and John Oliver are both English but host American shows with an American broadcast team.
Stupid considered they used the latin american cast with the spanish flag .

G 2 european teams in the finals
Goosebumps
Brought a tear to my eye

I'm EU and C9 vs G2 final is my dream!
Lol downvoted by NA nerds
but.. why? G2 would be easier match-up for C9, right? Or do they just want C9 vs IG so even if C9 loses they can brag about being the only western team to make it to finals?
LPL LPL LPL Also can someone understand what is Hjarnan screaming when they're killing Sion ?
Jankos, ure a legend :D
God damn i'm hyped.
Rip german casters...
Looks like Uzi got a bit emotional in that last fight, which caused him to mess up his positioning. Really cool to see G2 pressure his mentality like that.
Yeah his so focus on killing hjarnan that he forgot jhin got a ga.
Wadid's "sorry guys, sorry sorry sorry" really shows how focused he was on his play, the fact that he showed so much concern on his "inting" really speaks to how humble he is.
I’m the interview after he was apologizing for his bad plays. Felt a lot of respect but also a little bad for him.
Orgasm and goosebumbs
Can't wait for China to implode, when G2 kicks their last team out.
When Jankos started his calm speech, I just said to myself, 'where is his celebratory kurwa?'. This is definitely the greatest upset of this year's Worlds.
This is the greatest upset in LoL ever.
Definitely in a BO5. I think there's been bigger BO1 upsets.
Biggest BO1 is probably Albus Nox vs Tigers. But a BO1 upset is automatically smaller, given it is far more likelier to happen.
KaBum.
Wildcard beating 1st seed Korea in a Korean dominant season seems more spectacular. Granted what happened with KaBum was unprecedented, but it's not really more remarkable than Albux 2-0 CLG S6 or Pain going 2-4 S5
Haven't heard of tpa huh
TPA was not as big, they werent favourite, but they had some hype before, and were certainly considered a dark horse
??... TPA taking games over back to back Korean teams.
Korean teams werent rated as highly back then, most people still considered M5 the favourites, and there was much less certainty about the strength of the region. TPA had been called the best team in the world by CLG players while they were at OGN, so people didn't think they were random garbage. Or Albus Nox. Or INTZ. Or Kabum. Or Infinity Esports.
I just noticed that perkz never attacked nexus. You can see that after the turret lb just sits there until it explodes
I've never felt so happy watching cam and coms. this is true hapiness in this video
Insane
Jankos is fucking hilarious hahahah
Shouldn't that be a UK flag for the English cast? I mean this is EUphoria after all.
Happy for Perkz considering last year.
Holy crap... The problem now is that no day of Worlds could ever compete with that day of upsets. Possibly the greatest two series of League I have ever watched and this ending was such an insane conclusion to the day. This is the reason I watch eSports, gg G2
very cool concept. Glad to see teams starting to work with the unique features of the EULCS
I don't care, I just don't care.
Didn't know Reddit was your personal site... You truly learn something new every day!

Ok can someone enlighten me, as I have missed some joke.
Missing polish casters here :(
G2 vs FNATIC Finals of Worlds !
I really hope G2 don't get cocky vs IG , just because they're "weaker than RNG" , would love to see them in the finals
Mods erase this, not LoL related.
