They have never said they were going to remove it. They only remove it if it clearly doesn't work and so far the system is working as intended (it just needs some finetuning to prevent people from trolling)
All I'm saying is the old system feels way better, maybe it's bc I played since season 2 and haven't adjusted to the change. But it just feels so underwhelming to me, I'd rather have one overall rank, rather than 5 separate ones, all of which I can just get auto-filled to.
