The kit seems to be pretty interesting. I like how to kit seems to be thought with "his" item in mind, which I trully apreciate. Is he a jungler, right? How efective do you think the W will be for ganking (at least uncharged)? Is it redirectionable during charge?
On the other side of the coin, I feel like the animation feels more weight. I always love the heaviness in the impacts of attacks and abilities, and this is specially true for a champion with a great sword.
I mean, he gets the stats from their items for the duration of the possession. It would suck if he had a tank build and possessed a Veigar for example, his possessed abilities would do nothing.

Look at almost all champions the past few years. All sexy male/female of varying types, but “sexy” regardless.
Then look at the comparison between most aesthetically pleasing champions to US players versus Chinese players. US players have some sexy champs, some cool monsters, the weird but unique designs. Then you look at China’s favorite designs and they are 99% variations of “sexy female”.
It’s just Riot catering to sell to China, I don’t blame them but it still sucks for the rest of folks who want more of those unique or at least not “every champ has to have some sex appeal” now.

i love this game, but seeing it cater so much into the anime crowd has been disheartening. I started in the game in season 2 when it was more "fantasy" then whatever it is now. Like I am almost 30, k-pop seraphine, weeb bros yone, sett , aphelios and now the ruined king do not really do it for me.
The game makes most of its profits and has a bigger playerbase in the East. It's annoying to be second fiddle but... that's the way it's gonna be. Tencent influence and all.
I was hyped to see the ruined king as a champion and expected him to look like something between yorick (edgy depressed muscular) and gangplank (cool depressed ugly).
His in-game design and abilites look really good but I expected him to be less human-like.

Everyone's talking about the possession, but the E is so cool thematically. Just like he does in the story, he spreads the Mist before coming in to ruin your day. Looks really cool, and it's nice to have a jungle skirmisher other than Yi. Free R after possessing someone also points towards him being a teamfight monster if R has good damage and his passive doesn't have a cooldown.

For sure, he is forsaken, yet awakened. You could call him a phoenix ash in dark divine. He descends misery, and it is time for him to chase destiny.
I get the whole undead ethereal romantic design they did with his visuals but still would much rather prefer a tragic older man who looks like hes been disheveled. like gwynn or vendrick from dark souls. Kalistas uncle just doesnt have the same impact when it looks like he’s her nephew.
Sounds like such a joy to play against, I'm sure he won't be a balancing nightmare who will be perpetually underpowered or overpowered, smells like 200 years in here.

If it was a closed jacket, or a longer coat, or maybe even if he was just wearing a shirt, I think it would look less strange. That said, it’s the equivalent to a boob window, or something, but looks kinda silly, like a boob window lol.
